PD 1096 Guidelines Table

The PD 1096 Guidelines set minimum requirements for stair dimensions, ceiling heights for different types of rooms and buildings, room sizes for human habitation, kitchens and toilets, exit door widths and heights, corridor widths, railing heights, and glass thickness and dimensions. Requirements include a minimum stair width of 750mm, stair riser height of 200mm maximum, and tread depth of 200mm minimum. Ceiling heights must be at least 2.4m for rooms with artificial ventilation and 2.7m for rooms with natural ventilation.
