Direction: Answer the following questions concisely.
1. If you were an artist, what kind of artist will you be? What art field will you explore?
Why?
If I were an artist, I want to take use of as many mediums of expressions as possible to
communicate with other people what I think and feel. I could be a painter, sculptor, writer.
But I want to pursue Photography field and film making. As a matter of fact n my high
school days, I’m a campus journalist who compete a lot. I love taking pictures, I love how I
see the strong emotions and feelings to my capture.
2. How can you utilize the arts to express yourself, your community, and your relation to
others with the earth?
There are many ways to utilize the arts to express yourself, your community, and your
relation to others and with the earth. Maybe for me photography is the best way to
express my feelings to any aspects. By capturing someone/something you’’ll put your
whole heart to give your best shot. By means of photography I could show my true
feelings, show moral support, thoughts about the environment, mood, ideas, etc…
3. Why is art ageless and timeless?
Subjects changed as public demands changed. Materials changed as they evolved and
artists experimented with new and different choices. Color palates changed and shifted due
again to materials available and the public’s fancy. But it doesn’t mean that Art is out of
trend. Art will live on and no matter where or when it is made it is still considered as Art.
It is ageless because it can be preserved or passed on to the next generation. Art is
everywhere. Art can be found in any generation. It will never go out of fashion and
passion to someone.
If you try and understand their works and it still speaks to you then it is still timeless.
Timeless means that it is applicable or relatable in every generation or can differ but
does not fade away. Art varies from generation to generation which makes it advance
and relatable to everyone. It does not matter at what time Art emerges or when it has
been discovered as long as it can still be seen or touched today, then it did not even
age Art is timeless because Art originates from the people.
4. Why is an art not nature?
Nature is not human-made. Art must be human-mad, nature is natural. Art that is
composed of patterns and aesthetics. Furthermore, art is not
nature because art is not universal due to fact that nature is what you see and art is
what you do.
5. Why does art involve experience?
Other than the creativity and imagination capabilities of an individual, in order for you to
actually maximize your talent and skill and with the thought of sharing it with
others Experience is important. The longer you have been in the arts, the more you will
develop each of these traits. This is really what experience is about. Your experience
with your own mind and hands, how the longer you practice, you train your mind in
creativity.
