INTRODUCTION

In this school-based assessment there are information on the major


causes of pollution in my community. There is a statement of problem,
method of investigation, research questions, and a lot of important
information. In this SBA, you will learn a lot about how the local
government carries out function in my community.

individuals who helped me in the achievement of
this task. First, I must thank God for sparing my life
so that I was able to complete this task, my social
studies teacher for giving me this project, my
knowledge of this subject has been significantly
improved because of this investigation. Finally,

Data collection instrument

This is a survey being conducted in the Canje community on “ Air


Pollution”, as part of my school-based assessment, it is required that this
exercise needs to be conducted.
This questionnaire is being given to you to answer the questions to the
best of your ability and to be honest about your response, this
information is strictly confidential. You do not have to write your name
on the questionnaire. The questionnaire questions can be answered by
placing a thick {✓} next to your answer/response, instructions are given
where necessary.
Reason for research

This investigation carried out on the increase of pollution in the Canje


community is to determine:

*The level of air pollution


*What factors contribute to air pollution
*What can be done to resolve the problem
Method of investigation

As a mean of collecting data from residents residing in the community,


the researcher decided to use printed questionnaires.

community on air pollution, as a part of my school-based
assessment it is required that this exercise needs to be
conducted. This questionnaire is being given to you to
answer the questions to the best of your ability and to be
honest about your response. This information given is
strictly confidential. You do not have to write your name
