During a murder investigation, the police find two suspects who look identical but do not know each other. All evidence points to both suspects, but the police cannot determine which one is the real culprit. It is revealed that the suspects are identical twins who were separated in their youth. Their identical DNA makes it impossible to know which brother committed the crime. As the police cannot prove guilt, both twins must be acquitted under the law.

Story........

Summary : During the investigation of a man's murder, the police find two probable suspects, who
look alike but do not know each other. However, the case gets complicated when new facts get
unravelled. All the evidence are against both of them but police is unable to find the real culprit. And
because of the Indian government rules one can not be punished until found guilty so police have to
acquitted both suspects.

Plot.
Ezhil, is a civil engineer, while his lookalike Kavin, is a gambling
thief who deceives people along with his sidekick . One day,
Kavin tries to Kavin his friend pay his debt by extracting money
from an atm. After taking the money, Kavin is enraged, and so
is Ezhil after a party. That night, one of them breaks into a
house and attacks the owner Akash, stabbing him to death. The
next day, kavin helps his friend However, as the investigation
of Akash's murder proceeds, a selfie clicked by a couple nearby
is found with either of Ezhil or Kavin in it. Both Ezhil and Kavin
are brought in and investigated without their knowledge of
each other's existence. Police tortures him he reveals his car
broke down, and a call taxi driver helped him. Kavin, on the
other hand, cites various laws to escape torture. Sub-inspector
Malarvizhi, is assigned to solve the case. She reaches out to
Akash's friend and shows him the photograph of Ezhil/Kavin,
but he refuses to recognize him. She also questions Kevin’s
friend and tells him not to leave the city without permission.
The forensic expert informs Malarvizhi about a hair sample
recovered from the crime scene and how it doesn't match
anyone else in Akash's home. At the police station, Ezhil tries to
escape but is interrupted by Kavin. Kavin and Ezhil are revealed
to be identical twins after their DNA is found identical, and
both confess about the same; they parted ways after the
divorce of their parents ezhil was then taken in by his father
and kavin by his mother but after the death of mother Growing
up as their father died, and they again parted their ways.

On the other hand, Gopalakrishnan still wants to frame Ezhil,


but the call taxi driver who helped Ezhil confirms he was really
stuck on the night of the murder. It also gets proved that Kavin
paid friends debt with gambling money
