Tutorial 3 Eigen Values and Eigen Vectors

This document discusses eigen values and eigen vectors. It presents several examples of determining whether sets of vectors are linearly dependent or independent, and finding the eigen values and corresponding eigen vectors of given matrices. It also covers finding the eigen values of related matrices, verifying Cayley-Hamilton's theorem for matrices, expressing polynomials in terms of matrices using the theorem, and determining characteristic equations of matrices.
