NOTICE
RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE/FIRE (MALE)2022

Receipt of online application: 11/01/2022 to 15/01/2022


Closing date: 15/01/2022 (upto 5:00 PM

Online applications are invited from Male Indian Citizens for filling up the temporary posts of
CONSTABLE/FIRE in Central Industrial Security Force in the pay matrix Level-3 (Rs.21,700-69,100/-) (Pre-revised
Pay Band – Rs.5200-2020 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/-) plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government
employees from time to time. On their appointment, they will be governed under CISF Act and Rules as well as Central
Civil Services Rules applicable to other members of the force from time to time. On appointment, they shall be entitled for
the pensionary benefits as per the “New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme” applicable for the
new entrants to the Central Government services w.e.f. 01-01-2004. The recruitment process will consist of Physical
Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Medical Examination. There is no written test for this
recruitment The salient features of the recruitment are as under:-

(i) Application from candidates will be accepted through ON-LINE MODE only at CISF Recruitment website
http://www.recttcisf.in/ . No other mode for submission of application is allowed

(ii) Candidates should also not wait till the last date of application to avoid a situation where they are deprived
to fill up application due to reasons of crash of website due to heavy influx of applications and delay attributable to
technical errors

(iii) Physical Standards Test (PST)/Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Documentation, and Medical examination will be
conducted at respective Recruitment Centers as per schedule

(iv) The Call letter/Admit card to candidates will be uploaded on the Recruitment website http://www.recttcisf.in/
at each
stage i.e. for PST/PET & documentation, and Detailed Medical Examination during the recruitment process.

(v) The final selection of the candidates will be made in order of merit in each category and allotted vacancy to each
State. List of selected candidates State/Category wise will be uploaded in CISF recruitment website

(vi) The candidates who find place in the select list as per the available vacancy in each category in the State
will be called for Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

(vii) The candidates will be medically examined in accordance with revised uniform guidelines issued vide MHA UO
No.A.VI-1/2014-Rectt(SSB) dated 20th May‟2015 and instructions issued from time to time to assess their physical and
medical fitness.

(viii) The list containing names of LWE/Militancy affected districts is available at Annexure-VIII.

NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP: A candidate must be a male Indian Citizen only


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

(a) Educational qualification 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board.

(b) Age limits Not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on
(For Direct candidates) the closing date for the receipt of applications from
candidates (i.e.15.01.2022). Candidates should not
have been born earlier than 01.01.1997 and not later
than 01.01.2004. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC,
ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other special categories of
persons in accordance with the Central Government orders
on the subject as under.

(v) Children and dependent family member of victims Upto 5 years in upper age limit for General
KILLED in the 1984 riots and communal riots of 2002 candidates.

(b) daughter (including adopted daughter) Dependent Upto 8 years in upper age limit for OBC

who was wholly dependent on that victim at the time
of his getting killed in the riots would be eligible.
In order to be eligible for upper age relaxation in this
category, the applicant should produce a certificate to
that effect from the concerned District
Collector/District Magistrate wherein the victim was
killed.
NOTE: This advertisement pertains to recruitment of
Constable/Fire (Male), therefore, only male children
and male dependents of victims KILLED in the 1984
riots and communal riots of 2002 in Gujarat will be
considered.

(vi) Ex-Servicemen (a) General/Unreserved – 03 years after


deduction
of the military service rendered from the
actual
age as on the date of reckoning.
(b) OBC – 06 years (3 years + 3 years) after
deduction of the military service rendered
from
the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
(c) SC/ST – 08 years (3 years + 5 years)
after
deduction of the military service rendered
from
the actual age as on the date of reckoning.
(c) Physical Standards Height Chest
(i) For all candidates {except the following categories} 167 Cms Minimum 80 CM with minimum
expansion of 05 CM.

(ii) For candidates belonging to hill areas of the Garhwal, 165 Cms Minimum 78 CM with minimum
Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, expansion of 05 CM
Marathas, Sikkimies, Kashmir Valley and Leh &
Ladakh regions of J&K and North Eastern States
subject to production of Certificate as per Annexure –
IV.

(iii) Tribal or Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas subject 162.5 Cms Minimum 77 CM with minimum
to production of certificate as per Annexure – IV. expansion of 05 CM.

(d) Weight Proportionate to height and age as per medical standard. Weight will be recorded at the time of physical
measurements but the decision on fitness on account of weight will be taken at the time of medical
examination.
(e) Medical Standard :
(i) Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes. They must be in
good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient
performance of the duties

(ii) Eye Sight :- The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e.
without wearing of glasses. They should possess high colour vision

(iii) TATTOO :- Being a secular country, the religious sentiments of our countrymen are to be respected
and thus, tattoos depicting religious symbol or figures and the name, as followed in CISF are to be
permitted.
Location:-Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like inner aspect of forearm but only left
forearm, being non-saluting limb or dorsum of the hands are to be allowed.
Size:-Size must be less than ¼ of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body

Conduct of Physical Endurance The following field test will be conducted for the candidates who are
found to be qualified in the physical measurement and meet the age limit. The rules for qualifying for
the field test are as follows.

S.No Field testing

(i) Candidates who run 800 meters in 3 minutes will be eligible for the next test.
(ii) Candidates who jump into the jumping sheet from a height of 19 feet will qualify for the
next test.

(iii) Window mounted 33 feet above the ground (height 46.4 'above) Climb up the aluminum
extension ladder to the window and down the same ladder You have to go down (the
ladder will be 20 feet away from the starting line.)

(iv) Up and down rope up to 20 feet (use only hands while climbing rope) Will remain binding.
Step cannot be used). Doing so will disqualify the candidate.

Endurance Test for Meritorious Sports Persons. Physical Tests will be applicable for these persons as
applicable for SC/ST/OBC/UR candidates.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Aadhaar Card and PAN Card. 9. Education Certificates/Documents.


2. Photographs. 12 x Latest passport size colour (a) For 10th Class Pass Candidates. Admit card, Mark
photographs & 02 x family photograph (5 Cm x 5 Cm) sheet and board certificate of class 10th and 12th .
(Not more than Six (06) months old) with blue/white
background and visible date on photo.
3. Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC). Issued by
DC/ADC/EAC with signature and colour photo of
candidate on it.
4. Birth Certificate. For non-matric, Birth Certificate
signed by Registrar of birth & death with round stamp.
5. Caste Certificate. Issued by ADC/EAC/an officer
authorised by the DC, with office seal and colour
photo of candidate on it.
6. Character Certificate. Issued by VCP/Village
Sarpanch / Gaon Burha /Principal / Police Station
(Certificate should be issued within six months ).
7. Unmarried Certificate. Candidates below 21 years
must bring unmarried certificate signed by VCP/Gaon
Burah/Head of Village.(Certificate should be issued
within six months).
8. Indemnity Bond. Candidates below 18 years must
bring indemnity bond signed by parents and self on
the following format.

8. WARNING. (1) All candidates are guarded against contact with self appointed agents/touts
indulging in any kind of malicious propaganda undermining the transparency and fairness of entire
recruitment process.

(2) Unambiguously, it is stated that Merit as per spelt out tests and possession of Bonafide
documents shall be the sole criteria for selection process.

(3) Candidature will be cancelled, if the candidates do not report to ground, within the Time Specified
by Unit Administration.

(4) Impostors will be handed over to police custody


5) Candidates will not be permitted to appear in the Physical Fitness Test if they will not bring their Admit
card along

(6) Candidate will be responsible for their meal and accommodation arrangement as recruitment

(7) Mobile phone, voice recorder, calculator, digital watches, caps, head scarves/any other
electronics devices are prohibited within the premises of CISF

(8) CISF will not be responsible for compensating, incase, any injury/death is suffered by a
candidate, during process of recruitment.
