Dare 2 Innovate: Road to AIU’s Research Convention

Anveshan 2021-2022 Finals


"Innovation comes from creating an atmosphere where thoughts turn into ideas and ideas turn
into a reality".
Dare to Innovate is an University Level Innovation Project Competition. The motto of the event
is to identify 5 best project and nominate them for Anveshan-National Student Research
Convention 2021-22.
Objectives of Idea Competition
 To shortlist top 5 teams+ 2 extra for national level competition.
 To make students aware of the latest industry and societal trends.
 To connect with like-minded innovators and designers for further implementation of ideas.

Schedule:
 Last Date to Register: 18th January,2022
 Presentation of PPT: 24th January,2022
 Project Display and Presentation: 5th Feb,2022

Categories for participation:


 Agriculture Sciences & Allied fields
 Basic Sciences
 Engineering & Technology (Big Data Analysis, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence &
Machine Learning, Virtual & Augmented Realities, 3 D Printing, Robotics)
 Health Sciences and Allied Subjects, Pharmacy, Nutrition, etc.
 Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce and Law (Objective and Result Oriented
Projects).
 Wear House Management
 Portable Water Purification

Team formation and Participation Rules:


 Each team should consist of up to minimum 1 member and a maximum of 3 student
members. (UG/PG)
 The team leader must fill the registration form with the necessary details.
 The idea to the problem should be related to selected themes only.
 The solution should be self-identified, and technology oriented. In case of any plagiarism
observed, the team will be disqualified.
 Teams must present their solution in the form of a presentation
 The copyrights of the implemented projects will remain with the respective team although;
it can be implemented/incubated by university for the benefit of society.
 Evaluation criteria will be done based on Creativity, Usability, Technicality, Scalability,
Business Value, Novelty and Multidisciplinary Approach & Presentation Skills.
 Decision made by the evaluation panel will be considered final.

General Guidelines:
Round 1: PPT Presentation of Project/Idea (10 mins max)
Round 2: The Prototype showcase round
 The selected team from Round 1 will have to showcase their project via virtual mode.
 Each team will have 10 minutes for the presentation.
 The presentation will be followed by 3-5 minutes for Q&A Round.

Note 1: The top 5 finalist from Round 2 will directly get nominated for Anveshan,2021-2022 to
represent our university at national level.
Note 2: The Top 5 teams will have to come to University for attending a Bootcamp. The travelling
and lodging cost will be bared by the University.
Note 3: The project cost of Top 5 ideas will be funded by the University.
Evaluation Criteria:
 Evaluation criteria will include factors like Creativity, Usability, Technicality, Scalability,
Business Value, Invention, Innovation, Multidisciplinary Approach, Presentation Skills,
answers given to the Jury.
 The decision of Judges will be final and will not be subjected to any change.
