Univariate Analysis of Variance: Notes

1. A univariate analysis of variance (UNIANOVA) was conducted to examine the effects of class (experimental vs control) and student ability (high vs low) on student learning outcomes. 2. The results indicated significant main effects of class and student ability on learning outcomes, as well as a significant interaction between class and student ability. 3. Estimated marginal means showed that the experimental class had higher learning outcomes than the control class, and high ability students had higher outcomes than low ability students. The effect of class depended on student ability level.
