Ceremony

DATE : February 11, 2020

1. Please be informed that this Training Center conducted the Traditional Monday
Flag Raising Ceremony on February 10, 2020, with P/T Von Jovie D Ngoho, President,
PSBRC Cl 2019-02 Bravo Coy, as the Keynote Speaker.

2. The ceremony commenced with the entrance of troops, followed by the singing of
the Philippine National Anthem. PSSg Joyce Garrido and PSSg Jennifer Araba, led the
invocation and Panunumpa sa Watawat and Police Officer’s Pledge.

3. Meanwhile, PSSg Madronio highlighted the value of CONTENTMENT in his


speech. He further said that, as a public servant, being contented could help eliminate
jealousy/envy towards others and thus leads to a peaceful and meaningful life. Likewise, he
stressed that lack of contentment often triggers one’s decision to resort to corruption and other
illicit activities. As he ended his speech, he challenged the audience, especially the police
trainees, to be well-disciplined and contented, and fight against the temptation of corruption.
Moreover, PLTCOL MARLON D PAISTE gave his guidance as he reminded the audience to
always instill discipline in training and follow the NPTI guide religiously. The ceremony
concluded with the Pass-in-Review.

A gesture of patriotism to the Philippine Flag as RTC 8 staff, students and trainees sang the Philippine
National Anthem to start the conduct of Traditional Monday Flag Raising Ceremony
PSSg Neil Bryan T Madronio, PSJLC Cl 2019-01 Bravo and the Keynote Speaker, encouraged his fellow
police officers, of the value of contentment as a key to a decent and virtuous life.

PLTCOL MARLON DONATO PAISTE presents the Certificate of Appreciation to the Keynote Speaker
for sharing his insights to the students/trainees and staff of RTC 8.
