Opening of Savings Bank Account by using mobile’s video digital platform and recording his/her KYC
documents.
I/we are aware of and undertake to you as follows:

1) These conditions as stipulated hereunder are in addition to the conditions and not in derogation to the
conditions that are displayed on the website of the Bank governing Savings Bank Accounts
2) Opening this SB account by using video platform in our mobile phone device and also my/our
displaying the KYC documents on the video is out of my own will and volition.
3) I/We hereby confirm that this account using the video KYC has been opened in my/our location within
India and I/We am/are aware that I am/We are prohibited from opening video KYC account outside
India. I/We agree to the condition that the Bank is entitled to close the account without any reference to
us if it comes to its knowledge that I/We have opened this account from a location outside India
4) Bank is authorised to collect my/our personal details from the data base of UIDAI from my/our Aadhar,
which will be used for KYC purposes. I am/we are, responsible or liable for any incorrect or fraudulent
information or document provided by me/us through the video for opening my/our savings account.
Bank is neither responsible nor liable for any error in or incorrect information provided by me/us.
5) I am voluntarily submitting a copy of my Aadhaar Card without redacting the Aadhaar number as I wish
to avail/desirous of availing Direct Benefit Transfer/desirous of receiving Direct Benefit Transfer. I
request you to maintain and ensure strict confidentiality of my/our personal information as may be
stipulated by Regulator/s from time to time.
6) The opening of the account will be confirmed only after my/our personal identity information collected
from UIDAI by the Bank matches with the details shown on the video.
7) Except for the address for communication, I/we will not be able to modify or alter any other details
drawn from UIDAI database by the Bank
8) I/we are solely responsible for the data made available for opening the account through video display.
9) Bank shall not be held liable for loss or distortion of data during transmission, technical fault or error
during the opening of the account using the video platform, for any reason whatsoever.
10) I/We hereby also undertake to show my PAN Card on the video and authorise the Bank to verify my
PAN online through the website of the Income Tax Department.
11) I am/We are, aware that the link for opening video based Account uses cookies to ensure the best
experience
12) I/We agree to all Terms & Conditions governing the video KYC account available herein, on the
website of the Bank and/or that may be intimated to me/us from time to time by the Bank.
13) I/We agree and confirm that I/We am/are not a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) and below the age of 18.
Though I/We avail the assistance of bank’s personnel for completing the KYC through video platform,
I/We am/are aware that the Bank does not play any other role nor intervene and is not responsible for
any deficiency in the KYC documents. In case of any discrepancy or shortcoming, I/We undertake to
ensure compliance within 12 months from the date of opening of the account again through Video or
by visiting the nearby branch of the Bank for KYC compliance; In case of my/our failure, I/We hereby
authorize the bank to close my/our account, without any reference to me/us.
Terms and Conditions of this product
I/We, am/are aware of the following:-
a. The basis of the account opening is using the video platform of my/our mobile/laptop or any other
device which has the capacity to support audio and video.
b. I/we agree and hereby authorize Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited to fetch my/our personal details
using Aadhaar, which will be used for KYC purposes.
c. Upon conversion to full KYC account, variant of the savings account will be “Regular” and “Visa Int
Classic Debit Card” will be issued if opted by me/us. I/We also understand that If I/We am/are on-
boarded via NIYO X partner of Equitas bank, account will be converted to Equitas Niyo Savings
account with Visa Platinum Contactless Niyo Morse debit card. Request for conversion will be
processed within 2 working days if otherwise in order.
d. Upon conversion of Full KYC Regular Variant Account, Net banking and Mobile banking will be
enabled for me/us.
e. My/our personal details are being drawn from the database maintained by UIDAI based on the Aadhaar
card displayed by me/us on the video during the process of opening my/our account. Bank is not
responsible for any incorrect or fraudulent information that may appear in the video display made by
me/us. In an event of the Bank coming to know that documents used by me/us for opening the account
are forged, fictitious or vitiated by fraud, Bank shall be entitled to close the account without any reference
to me/us and I/we undertake not to hold the Bank liable or responsible for any loss that may occur to
me/us for any reason whatsoever as the closure of the account by the Bank is attributable to me/us..
f. As the details are drawn from UIDAI data base by the Bank, the details cannot be modified or altered
by me/us later.
g. I/We are solely responsible for the data made available for opening the account.
h. Updating (or) Modification of Nominee details if any needs to be submitted to any nearest ESFBL branch.
i. I/we hereby inform you that the address shown in my Aadhaar is different from my current address. I
further wish to inform you that I/we do not have any Officially Valid Document in proof of my/our
current address, hence I/we have executed a declaration confirming my/our current address. I/We
request you to send all correspondence pertaining to my account to the address provided under the
declaration by me/us and displayed during Video KYC. In the event of any change in this address, I/We
undertake to intimate the bank of the same within two weeks of such a change and produce a copy of
the official valid document in proof of my new address.
j. I/We am/are aware that my address/location falls under non-service of ESFBL, I/We undertake to carry
out the transaction through digital banking services and I/We hereby confirm that branch related
services would not be available at my/our address/location
k. The image displayed in the video of inferior quality or get distorted, I/We undertake to repeat the
exercise on being notified by the Bank.
l. Since the opening of the account is through video platform in my/our mobile/laptop, there could arise
technical fault or error during the recording of the video and Bank shall not be responsible in any
manner whatsoever, for having relied upon the images/pictures displayed in the video and
permitted the opening of the account. In an event of mismatch in Aadhaar Details and/or PAN, I/We
acknowledge that the Bank has the right to reject my/our application and refund my/our amount
m. I/We agree that the account opened by me/us will be subject to regular scrutiny and monitoring by the
bank and bank reserves the right to completely freeze/debit freeze/ close the account at its sole
discretion, in case of suspicious transactions, transactions not in consistent with RBI guidelines relating
to the account, account opened with fictitious or fabricated documents etc.,

o. I/We consent to the jurisdiction of courts in Chennai in an event of any dispute, difference
and/or claim.
