Yes, when I was at their age range I can recall that I also do the things that they do. As a preschooler I was also energetic and was curious
about everything in class. I also liked to read even though I don’t know how to read during those times. I also like to be the center of
attention and I play by myself. As an elementary kid I was an achiever and I also experienced being bullied. I only had a few friends that
mingles with me. During high school I often had mood swings just like any other teens but with the help of my parents, close friends and
teachers I was able to manage my emotions and control it.
As what I’ve mentioned from number 1, I only had few friends at school. But it was not that of a big deal. My mom was a teacher of mine
during elementary and she was the one who have truly influenced me as a child to reach and chase my dreams. She was the one I would run
to when everything seems to be falling apart. She helped me to be more critical, forgiving, practical, realistic and healthy. She was my
source of inspiration and the one that molded me to the person I am now. She was my mom, my teacher, my best friend and my strength.
Being a teacher is difficult most especially when student’s race, culture and beliefs are different with each other. It is important for us
teachers to be aware of what must be done and on how to respond to our diverse learners. Teachers need to modify every strategy and
approaches that they use to cater and deal with the different group of learners. It is important that teachers accept the learner’s
differences and respect each individual ’sculpture to raise confidence between students’ uniqueness and individuality.

SHOW YOUR LEARNING ARTIFACTS

The learning experience of a child is influenced by development. During the process of pursuing life we undergo different stages which will
make our human skills and abilities to be strengthened. These different stages will give us developmental patterns that will enable our body
and brain perform a certain task. That is what Jean Piaget’s Cognitive Development Theory emphasizes. Piaget believed that, cognitive
development was a progressive reorganization of mental processes as a result of biological maturation and environmental experience.
Children construct an understanding of the world around them, then experience discrepancies between what they already know and what
they discover in their environment. The core idea of Piaget's theory is that children develop by acting as “little scientists” who explore and
interact with their world to understand people, objects, and concepts. They do this naturally, even without the help of an adult. Using this
tool to understand your diverse learners is a big help to have and create a better strategy that can response and attend to their
needs in terms of instruction, assessing and developing learning materials. Through cognitive development theory I will be able to
identify their individuals’ needs and respond to it appropriately. When I become a teacher I will make sure I use the appropriate materials
ask motivational questions that provoke thinking. Most
