1 Introduction
1.1 Purpose and Scope
1 The Teamcenter Training program is specially designed by the Tata Technologies, keeping in mind the basic
needs of the End users while performing the daily activities within the PLM Environment. At the end of this
training session audience will get awareness of Creating new Item, Releasing an item, searching the items and
maintaining the work flow i.e. release procedure.

You can find the GTRE Item under HOME Folder
The steps for the creation of the GTRE ITEM are same as GTRE only the naming convention differs.

X- can be any Alphanumeric number from A-Z or 0-9
The minimum length is 5 digits and the maximum is below 20 digits
Enter the ID, Description and Name whereas ID and Name are compulsory fields to be entered.

Always the datasets are attached to the Item Revisions of the Item.
Steps to attach dataset to the Item Revision of GTRE Item and is same for the GTRE_SPL_ITEM

Select UGMASTER Dataset and click ok
If you want any other dataset to be attached click on more and select the dataset of your choice to be
attached to Item Revision.
You can find the Dataset attached below the GTRE Item Revision and the same method to be followed if you
have to attach dataset to the GTRE_SPL_ITEM

Overview:
The GTRE_SPL_ITEM is created by the module group
Then it is searched by BAEHAL Engineer and attached the UGMASTER, PDF and MSEXCEL Datasets with
specification, Reference and manifestation relation respectively.
Once BAEHAL Engineer attaches the Dataset, he launches the ItemRevision into workflow (GTRE) SPL_ITEM
Release process)
BAEHAL Engineer completes his task and selects the BAEHAL Approver for the Approval
BAEHAL Checks and if he Rejects the task will go back to BAEHAL Engineer and if he accepts the task will
move back to module group (The Item creation owner)
If Module Group Rejects the task will go back to BAEHAL Engineer, if he approves the task again will be with
the module group asking for condition to select.

The task is moved to final approver and here the process will be with the module group (Pankaj kumar as it is
automatically assigned using handlers, so there is no need to select the Select signoff team member)

Overview:
The GTRE_ITEM is created by Module group.
After the GTRE_ITEM is created by module group, the item is searched by External group (BAEHAL) and
then attaches the three datasets (PDF with Reference relation, MSExcel with manifestation relation and
UGMASTER with specification relation). Once the dataset is attached the BAEHAL engineer/’Designer
launches the Item Revision into workflow process.
The BAEHAL designer completes and then selects the signoff from the External reviewer group.
The External reviewer will attach Another PDF with manifestation relation and then approve or reject. If
approved it will move to Module approval and if rejected it will move back to BAEHAL Engineer.
Module approval will be presented with the condition task. If yes then the task will move for
GTRE_ADDITIONAL_REVIEWER, if NO the task will move to verify worksheet. In verify worksheet the
module approval has to select yes so that the task will move onto GTRE_OWNER_REVIEW.
Once the GTRE_OWNER_REVIEWER approves the task the Item revision will get the GTRE Model
released status. If reject the task will move back to BAEHAL designer.

Next GOTO Task to Perform>>KZ22222/Nil-test (perform-signoff)>>Viewer tab and select either Approve or
Reject.
If Approve the task will automatically go to Module group, if reject the task will go to BAEHAL Engineer.

After selecting No the task will be in the task to perform Worklist of the module group and it is Auto assigned.
In Verify worksheet task, if selected true the task will move to GTRE_OWNER_REVIEWER or else it will move
back to BAEHAL ENGINEER.

After selecting true the task is AUTO assigned to the item owner (here module group)
Again GOTO>>MY Worklist>>KZ22222/Nil;1-test>>Viewer tab
Select one of the two decisions-Approve or Reject.
If Approved the Item Revision will get released
If rejected the task will move back to BAEHAL ENGINEER
