Week-1 AnVek (Complex Number)

Here are the solutions to the 4 problems in Assignment 1: 1. (5 + 5i) + (-4 + 3i) + (8 - 7i) = 9 - 2i 2. (3 - 3i)(-9 + 4i)(2 - 3i) = -54 + 27i 3. 2z2 + z1 - 5 - i = -13 - 5i 4. 3x + 2iy - ix + 5y = 7 + 5i Solving the real and imaginary parts separately gives: 3x - y = 7 2iy + 5y = 5i Solving this system of equations gives: x = 2, y = 1

 If a and b is natural number, then sum of a + b and
multiplication of a.b is also natural number
 Integer Number  -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, ….
 is solution of an equation x + b = a, where a and b is natural
number
 Rational Number or Fractional Number
 is solution of an equation bx = a for all of integer numbers
where b ≠ 0
 Irrational Number
 All of numbers that are not categorized as Rational Number
 Almost the real number is irrational number

Both of Rational and Irrational Numbers are called as Real

Numbers.
COMPLEX NUMBER (1)

 z = a + bi  Re{z) = a dan Im{z} = b

 Example :
z = 5 + 3i  Re{z) = 5 dan Im{z} = 3
COMPLEX NUMBER (2)
 True Imaginary Number

If a = 0  0 + bi or bi

 Complex Conjugate:
