ANALYZE
How do school campus and the classroom in particular impact the learning of the students going to school?
what are your conclusions?
The facilities of the school campus and the classroom greatly affect the students that go to school,
because if the school and classroom is improper the students will start to think not to go to school. The
petitioned positive behavior somehow motivates them to come to school and attend their classes. Also, the good
nature and quality of the learning environment affect teacher’s attitudes, behaviors and performances which is
very lively in molding young minds and character. How the teachers are towards their duty and responsibilities
greatly affect on the students’ success. But because of the pandemic and the situation we are facing right now,
more students are excited to go to school because their having a hard time in learning and adjusting in a new
normal kind of learning.
How does this relate to your knowledge of child and adolescent development? How does this relate to your
knowledge of facilitating learning?
As future educator, by these cases I will know that there are many factors that can affect the student to
attend and not to attend school. And by knowing such factors, I can adjust to what my students will need. I will
make sure that my classroom is clean, properly lighted and well ventilated. I will also see to it that the furniture
in my classroom is properly arranged so that students will be comfortable in moving around the room.
REFLECT
Would you like to teach in the school environment you just observed? Why? Why not?
Yes. It is to my advantage to work in the school because, aside from being very near from where I live, I
know the people working in that school, I think I can share how to be more productive, competitive and
innovative. Innovation are available anytime and I’m willing to be part of it. The school environment is very
accessible, the surroundings is very peaceful and covered by green pasture that brighten up the day and gives a
cool and cozy environment.
What kind of school campus is conductive to learning?
A school that is conductive to learning is a school that has complete facilities that will surely help and
benefited by the student learners to understand the subject matter they are studying, also if it is clean, well-
organized and free from any pollutions. Well-built and beautiful buildings and complete school facilities solicits
positive responses from students. A campus exhibiting competitive standards and provides quality education
will create a good impression on students, parents and the community as well. An institution with staffs of good
reputation and morals is also a vital aspect of a learning environment. Now that we are technological, school
must be updated in any form of learning.
Classroom is not about facilities, it also about the teacher how he/she conduct and how to facilitate their
students. Colorful bulletin boards or information boards for example, are good for curiosity of students. The
teacher who manages the classroom must have a good well-being. A well-ventilated, well-lighted, well-
decorated, and well-arranged classroom is conducive to learning. A classroom built beautifully and of strong
foundation is conducive to learning, too. It is said to be conducive if it is fully equipped with instructional and
learning materials. Having a warm atmosphere of friendship among teachers and students alike and where
students can exercise their freedom of expression without the fear of being judged and discriminated are my
ideas of a conducive classroom environment
If I become a teacher someday. I will do the same and change everything that someday would be the
barrier to my classroom into better situation. I will be the one to facilitate in structuring my classroom and
letting my students involve in a particular task, I will also organized my room in order for my students to learn
well and I will put my classroom with complete facilities so that they may feel comfortable and can pay
attention to the discussions.
For now, I will study hard so that I can be a good teacher in the future. If I have good grades and right
experiences I have no doubts that I can accomplish to become a compassionate teacher by mind, heart and soul.
I must possess excellent classroom management skills, an open mind to see and understand students’
differences, I must live up to my own expectations, I will use my creativity and passion in teaching to catch
their attention in every side of the classroom. Every student has always have a freewill for their suggestion,
opinions.
Write your additional learning’s and insights here.
In my insights in this subject as my Field Study, it helps me to discover everything that are
essential for the students as future educators to observe the classrooms settings, to become conscious on
how to attain good and effective school environment and that later would give me an idea on how to
have a decent classroom conducive to learning. I also learned that students have their own response to
the atmosphere they are in, that’s why the teacher’s should be complex and flexible to know that for me
t. This field of study is very important, for students like us, as future educators. It helped me open my
mind in considering the environment such as the school campus, as a factor that would be very
important in the learning of the students. I also learned that every classroom should be conducive for
learning so that students will be encouraged to learn and feel comfortable in going to school. The
appearance of the school buildings, surroundings and classrooms reflect on the kind of educators
running the institution. Parents, students and the rest of the residents in the community where the school
stands gets their first impression of the school from its outward looks. They connect that impression to
the teachers. The trust and respect they give to the school may depend on that impression. Trust and
respect affect teaching. Trust and respect affect learning.
