Unit 3 -Introduction to Educational Multimedia

Overview

The teachers of the 21st century as innovators make use of technology, there are many

choices on how to deliver quality and relevant education for the new generation of learners

.This module will present the different kinds of media that can be utilized creatively by future

teachers .Likewise this module will provide you on how to create instructional materials that

can be utilized in your practice teaching activities.

Objectives: At the end of the unit, I am able to :

1.Create meaningful instructional materials integrating ICT.

2. Discuss various educational tools used in e-learning.

3. Show skills in the positive use of technology in online activities and projects.

4.Formulate lesson plan along the area of specialization with ICT integration.

5.Apply 21st century skills such creativity and critical thinking skills.

6. Demonstrate. understanding of a supportive online learning environment that nurtures

and inspires individual and collaborative activities,

Teachers make use of all kinds of instructional materials depending on the
availability and access to resources. Effective classroom teaching considers that
the learning environment is conducive for learning .A well-equipped classroom
that addresses the 21st century education will be able to motivate the generation
Alpha in learning. Remember, they are the most digitally exposed generation who
heavily make use of technology in their day to day life.
Synthesizing Your Knowledge -Post-Activities (online quizziz/activities)

Indivdual Activity Choose only 2 activities from below-

1.Design your own powerpoint presentation using the topic discussed in this module.

2.Formulate a lesson plan .Choose any topic in your area of specialization.Make sure you

will apply what you learned from this module.Lesson Plan template used by DePed Public

School and used by a private school.

3. Create an instructional materials using digital tools like infographics on the topic

NCOVID 19

Individual projects will be assigned in line with the formulated /submitted lesson plan.
