Scenario: The scene takes place in the young mans room; it contains a bed, a bedside table, a sofa, a closet and other objects.

Characters: Paul a young man between ages 24-25 Vera a young woman aged 23

Scene 1 (Paul and Vera) Paul: You can come in, this is my cubicle. (When Vera enters the room, Paul rubs his hands in glee) Vera: Thank you. (Vera sitsat the sofa. Paul throws himself at the bed) Paul: What do you think of my room? Vera: I've seen worse. It's good; you're tidy, my cousins room is far worse than yours. His room is all messed up, it seems like a pigpen. P:Mine is more like a hennery? A: No... I'd say it's more like... like a room. P:A wealthy peopleroom? V: Not that much... P:Huh? V: A tidy peopleroom. (There was a momentary silence, Paul hesitates a little and then getting up the bed, he approaches Vera trying to kiss her) V: What is that? P: What do you think it is? V:An abuse of trust. P:Its just a little kiss. V: And then another and another, I know where all this will end. P:Great! Then lets see the end of it, I think we'll end up at a good site. V: No thanks. I'm not interested. P: I just want to touch you. V: Thank you for your interest. P:Those lips of yours! They are begging to be kissed. V: Look at my lips.

P: Ouch! They are beautiful. V:We do not want to be [Link] you hear what they said? P: They are lying. V: You brought me here for that. You insisted so much for me to come see where you live just to take me to your room. P: Ok, I'll be honest with you, I want you, I desire you, I want to kiss you, to grab you, to make love to you, andI want it so badly. V: But you have to take into account what I want. P: Do you want a hug? A: No, is too hot in here. P: You are free to undress yourself, feel at home. V: I like to be dressed. P: I'll explain what is happening here. You want me as much as I want you, but you feel ashamed to give yourself to me because you think I'll find that you are a slut and I will not value you. Youre dying to touch me, to kiss me, you want to lie down on that bed as much as I do but you're wasting time playing the innocent little princess. Ive wanted you for a long time and you dont need to do so, you are absolutely beautiful and I want you, why we should waste time? V: I'm no princess; I lost my virginity a long time ago. I'm just not interested in you and I see no reason tolie down on that bed with you. It's as simple as that. P: Okay, if you want to appeal to reason, I'll give you 10 reasons why we should lie down on that bed right now. First: Why not? What do we lose? We'll just make love, enjoy pleasure, I explore your body, you explore mine and then each one goes to his side. V: Why not? Because I dont feel attracted to you and I have no reason to believe that it will be satisfactory for me to make love to you. P: I guarantee that it will be satisfactory A:I dont feel attracted to you and if I were to believe the word of all men who want to take me to bed, my life would just be to wake up and go house to house. P: Okay, there is a second reason. Lets suppose that the world ends tomorrow... V: That's good. Everyone uses it. If the world ended tomorrow, do you think I would want to spend my final moments making love to you? P: It is a good way to spend the last day on earth. V: No thanks. P:There is the third reason. Scientific studies, and totally scientific, made by major universities around the world, say that sex is very good for people, both psychological and [Link] say that it is very good and it causes a general relaxation. I'm such a good friend of yours that I'm willing to help you in that sex therapy. You dont need to give me anything; Ill do it for pure friendship. So lets go to bed. V: I believe in science. P:Yeah... Good, very good. So lets... V:And that's why yesterday I had the best and most relaxing sex with my boyfriend.

P: Ok ... Ok ... This leads us to the fourth reason. Imagine that your boyfriend is at this precise moment in a female friend's house and she offers herself to make love with him. I can guarantee you that he will not refuse it, and as a good friend I offer to help you avenge yourself from your boyfriend? V: Well ... My boyfriend is not married to me. We have not yet sworn fidelity at the altar. The same way that I could make love to you if I felt interested, he may, who knows,be making love with someone who has appeared in his life. But what we have is special; sometimes we keep distance from each other but we always come back because we were made for each other, so even if now he is making love with someone else, what I think he is not, I do not need to make love to you to get revenge. P: Okay, okay, last reason, the tenth: make love to me for charity. Im on my knees, be compassionate, have mercy, make love to me. Let me kiss your feet. (Paul starts to kiss Veras feet) V: I dont make charity with my body. There are proper women for that and even in those cases it is not called charity. P:Have you boyfriend kissed you from head to toe? V: He has poured honey on my body and sucked it slowly, from my head to my feet. P: I can give you a full hour of foreplay. V: We sometimes just do foreplay all afternoon. It's so good; I get excited just remembering it. P: Okay, I give up. At least I tried.

StlioIncio A Short Play in One Act 2010

Stlio Incio, writer of 25 years old, was born on the 26th January, 1986 in Maputo, Mozambique (a Portuguese speaking country). Early on he became interested in Literature, Philosophy, Music and Arts in general and made massive studies in these areas. At 15 he began to write seriously while continuing his investigations and his secondary studies. At that time he has membership cards from various libraries in the city of Maputo, where he maintains contact with worlds literature. He also maintains contact with art and with the scientific progress of the digital age. He develops a fondness for Portuguese vernacular prose by Alexandre Herculano, and classic literature, reading writers like Cames, Dante, Boccaccio and Shakespeare. Over the years 2002, 2003 and 2004 he writes the vast majority of the 200 sonnets that were later in December 2006, compiled in his book of 60 sonnets entitled "O Meu Pas esfrico, Azul e Pasmoso" (My Country is Spherical, Blue and astounding). At that time he wins two literary prizes: Maria Odette de Jesus, by A Politcnica and "Mozambique-Germany Cultural Crossroads". Throughout these years he comes to know all the painful reality of a deficient publishing sector on his country, and also the poor appreciation of literature by society and youth in particular. A scenario that seemed to contradict all his literary ambitions of glory, but Stlio Incio did not give up and in 2008 he brings the literary project: [Link], (former: [Link]) where he writes stories for the dissemination of literature to young people and chronicles entitled LITERURBANOUCURUMORISTICA. These tales were written and recorded by the author to audio format and distributed free through the blog, in print and via electronic mail. All this effort at the expense of the author. In 2008 the author published a CD containing the tales narrated, and in 2009 a book of the chronicles.
