1.) Why did you choose IFSU?
I choose Ifugao State University because it is the nearest university to our home. I am
currently living at Sto. Domingo, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao while the university is just two
boards away from home. Moreover, I also choose to study here because my eldest sister
recommended that this university gives ultimate experiences and fun that can truly
improve oneself. Lastly, due to financial status, my parents can't afford to send me to
better universities. But to sum up everything, it is a great privilege to be an IFSU student
because it renders quality education that prepares me professionally for the future.
2.) As a student, how can you show your commitment to the school?
According to the dictionary, the word commitment defines as the state or quality of being
dedicated to something. As a student, I will show my commitment to the school through
my words and actions. I must abide by the rules and regulations of the institution.
Studying well is also a way that shows commitment because doing your best means not
causing harm to the school. Another act of commitment is having cultural sensitivity.
According to the IFSU vision, it says there “A globally recognized university upholding
excellence amidst rich cultural heritage.” One must accept, respect, and have the courage
to engage oneself in different culture despite the differences in cultural practices. It is
better to involve oneself in the activities of the school and help to maintain peace and
cleanliness inside the institution. Singing the IFSU hymn with respect and with all my
heart, wearing my complete school uniform, participating actively during the activities,
protecting the school property, being a good example to every student, applying what you
learn, and help the school accomplish its VMGO.

3.) Why did you choose to become a teacher?

Being a teacher is challenging, as Madam Naty Ingo, my high school teacher once said
“Choose a course which you are weak at enable to turn that weakness into your strength."
I am a very shy person, I often speak less to the people around me. I possess low self-
confidence and everytime I talk in front of the public,f I tremble. I choose to be a teacher
to face those fears. In addition, I view teaching as an opportunity to make myself a better
person. I also salute all teachers for I saw some who exert effort, passion, and dedication
towards their profession. Furthermore, my parents also want me to pursue this course
because it fits me. Teaching is a profession that trains the next generation to be what they
want to be. I want to be a part of every learner to achieve their goals in life. I want to
educate young minds and be a bridge to their dreams. I want to be a source of knowledge
and skills. I also love kids, especially when my niece was born. I want to fill their minds
with facts and teach them proper manners. Teachers are said to be modern heroes and
being one of them in the future feels great. Once a teacher I can gain respect and money
as well. I can already support my family financially. I can buy their needs and wants
without hesitating. I can build my parents their own house, I can treat them to the mall,

visit to different places, and spoiling them with the things they desire to have. Being a
teacher help me to reciprocate the support they gave me throughout my life.
