Mixing:

Mixing is a process performed for production of high quality of yarn with minimum variation in
yarn quality and also result in low production costing also if we want to make blend of different
type of fibres ie polyester, nylon, cotton.

Input: Bales of raw material

Output: Mix tuff raw material

Blow room:

Blow room is very initial process in spinning used for gently opening cleaning and mixing of
cotton or other fibres so fibres which is in compressed form can open gently and also clean it for
removing every tiny particle of trash in it and result in production of high quality yarn.

Input: Mixed cotton

Output: lap formation


Carding:

Carding is a mechanical process in which wiry surfaces used to convert lap or tuff material into
web state and it removes all the dust trash and resulting in fibre orientation in a good way which
contribute in production of high quality of yarn.

Input: Lap

Output: Web Formation or sliver

Drawing:

Drawing is the process which basically used for combination of two or more sliver and
equalizing and parallelizing of fibre done in it which contribute in better quality of yarn.

Input: Sliver

Output: Draw Sliver

Roving:

Roving is a process in which we feed various canes of draw sliver and insert small amount of
draft load through rollers and insert twist in sliver stands and then finally wound twisted strands
of sliver into bobbin.

Input: Drawn Sliver   

Output: Roving

Ringing:

Ringing is process in which we draw the roving by applying certain draft and then impart sufficient twist
to form singe continuous length of yarn. The end package formed after is yarn by winding yarn into some
suitable package (bobbin).

Output: baby cone

Auto cone winding:

It is end process of spinning in which we convert our small packages of yarn into larger by
winding yarn into bigger packages which can be used in further textile processes also removing
faults which is coming in yarn by maintaining high quality yarn.

Moisture addition:

Moisture addition is basically done by placing packages in moisture room by applying fumes on
packages especially for cotton to improve the strength of cotton fibre due to formation of
hydrogen bonding.

In research and development the working is on development of innovation in yarn so in this case
fabric knit can be develop of various design and way, due to trend of fast fashion various type of
yarn made from natural fibre and by intentionally imparted various type of properties like neps,
slub etc. so resulting yarn made from it will be off different design and color which we can used
in developing knit design fabric.

Types of Knitting Machine:

Circular Knitting machine:

Circular knitting is a type of machine which is used to manufacturing of single jersey and double
jersey fabric. Circular knitting machines produce lengths of fabric in the form of a tube rather
than panels or panels lengths. Garments must be made from the fabric via the cut and sew route,
which creates waste. In addition, there are technical limitations in knitting, dyeing and finishing.
A circular machine greatly increases productivity.
Types of Knitted structure MTM developed:

In Knitted structures there are four primary structures are the base structures from which all weft
knitted fabrics are derived. They are:
