In my opinion it talks about the development of humanity in terms of communication skills. As depicted
in the picture, the humanity started creating the building blocks of communication — words. It also
shows the transition of the humanity — from slow to instant — as our communication platforms or
channels started to evolve. This educates the mass to be interested in books and in the traditional
process because we are attached to gadgets nowadays. The essence of communication is going downhill
since we don't pay attention to how an effective communication should be. We see how the previous
generations have gone through all of the labor in order to bring forth what we have today, and we are
all called not to be dependent to the modern technology to us, relying on it with thoughts about
controversies and criticisms. This picture calls us to bring our relationships closer with modern
technology and not to destroy or ignore it in any means. We have the freedom of expression today, and
we must be deserving in a way we use these for the enhancement of our communication skills — not
just a "couch potato" due to the influence of social media.
