blooming”.

Exercise 2. To Deepen My Understanding

1. We celebrate festivals to remember people associated with them. On festivals, friends, family, and relatives
gather together and celebrate with joy and happiness. Festivals bring people closer to each other and make
social bonds. We celebrate festivals to follow our tradition and religion in society.
2. Dance, in any form helps in enhancing one's fitness. Dance steps may lead to physical exercise of a person,
which helps a person to stay fit. It can improve our physical as well as mental health. According to a research,
music helps to fresh one's mind and reduces tension. So, music as well as dance helps us to stay fit. So combined
with a music a dance, a festival dance surely help us improves our overall health.
3. Festival dances develop the value of unity in community fitness, they bring people together, all in a jovial mood,
during this time, people get to interact and share more thereby creating bonds which is in itself unity, this
fosters peace among the community members since they identify with each other thereby.
