We use the present simple to talk about:

USES

things that are always true

E.g.: The sun rises in the east.

habits and things that happen repeatedly.

E.g.: I play guitar on Saturdays.

we often use the simple present with words that tell you how often: for example always,
never, often, sometimes, usually, once a day …
we make present simple we make present simple
E.g.: You never listen to me.
negatives with: do / does + questions with: do / does +
FORM infinitive subject+ infinitive

SHORT FORMS

HOW TO MAKE HE / SHE / IT FORMS

most verbs : → + -s Examples: say - says; play – plays; know – knows.

-s, -sh , -ch, -x : → + -es Examples: pass – passes; wash- washes; teach- teaches;
mix- mixes
