3 Software requirements
– Visu+ Version ≥ 2.52
– Visu+ Express Version ≥ 2.52

4 Visu+ project 5 WebClient


• Open an existing Visu+ project or create a new one. The access is now possible with a HTML5-capable browser.
• Enter the IP address and the port as URL
4.1 Configuring the network service (e.g. 192.168.0.2:8080) in the address field of the
browser.

• Double-click on the „Networking“ entry.

• Enable the „Network Server“ and „Websocket Server“


check boxes.
• Configure the „Web Server Port“.
To encrypt the communication, you have to enable HTTPS
transfer with a certificate.
• Enable the „Secure Websocket“ check box.
• Click on the „...“ button in the "Create Certificate"
section.
A DER and PEM certificate is created.
The certificates are provided by default in the sub-folders
„cert“ and „private“ of the hidden folder
„C:\ProgramData\Phoenix Contact\VisuPlus“.

The file „WebCfg.xml“ is generated in the project


folder. The file contains the default folders for the
certificates.
