This course deals with human behavior in organizations. Conceptual frameworks, case
discussions, and skill-oriented activities are applied to course topics which include:
2 Course Description employee attitudes and personality, motivation, group dynamics, leadership, conflict
2 and negotiation, diversity, organizational design, and culture. Class sessions and
assignments are intended to help participants acquire skills and analytic concepts to
improve organizational relationships and effectiveness.

After the end of this course, the students will be able to:
1. Define organizational behavior and demonstrate the importance of
interpersonal skills in the workplace.
2. To identify the major behavioral science disciplines, and the contributions to
Organizational Behavior.

4. To understand employee personality and values and individual differences
that affects the organization.
5. To analyze motivation through needs, job design and satisfaction.

a. Class Attendance and Participation:
Class attendance is mandatory (at 85% of classes) to qualify for grading as per university
policy. But I will grade you on the basis of your in time presence. So after taking
attendance of the class (usually in the beginning of the class), there will be no provision for
recording attendance.

There is NO provision for make-up of missed classes and quizzes.
Additional Course Expect quiz on completion of each topic.
