1. List the different rules for sharing computer and equipment.
• Be patient and take turns when sharing equipment.
• Do not use equipment for longer use.
• Do not adjust equipment without permission.
• Tell your teacher if the equipment is broken or need attention.
• Leave equipment as you find it.
• Keep your work area tidy.
2. List some behaviour when using online technology.
• Be polite.
• Report anything that is upsetting or frightening.
• Help others to report.
• Report any behaviour that seems dangerous.

Ans. A simple outline plan showing how the components of a web page will fit
together.

5. What is web page editor?


Ans. A web page editor is an application used to create web pages.

6. Name the sections of a web page?


• Header
• Body

7. Define the following:

Short descriptions about the web page or text. It is larger than


Headings
normal text.
Images Images make a web page interesting and easier to understand.
Images can be photographs, drawings or cartoons.
Links A link is also called as hyperlinks. When a link is clicked a
new page is opened.
Logo The logo tells who owns the website.

Menu A menu helps you find your way around the web page.

Text Text is used to give information or instructions.

Header An area at the top of the web page is called header.

Body The main part of the web page is called body.

8. How to be safe and responsible when publishing a web page?


• Do not include personal details on your web page.
• Do not include any information that will allow someone to identify or locate
you.

9. How to be safe and responsible when uploading images on a web page?


• Do not add phots of yourself, family, or friends without permission.

10. What are the different checklists for reviewing a web page?
• Checking your spelling
• Is your text clear?
• Images
• How does your page look?
• Do the links work?

II. Fill in the blanks:


1. A collection of webpages is called website.
