1. How IMPORTANT is PROPER POSTURE as a STUDENT and in


PREPARATION in your CAREER?

Proper posture means the joints and bones inside our body are in correct
position or alignment so that we can use our muscles properly. Having a proper
posture is very important to everyone, especially in student like me. As a student
that there’s a lot of school works to do every day, going to school, changing of
classroom every subject, sitting until midnight facing laptop, studying, and doing
paper works is very challenging to achieve every day. By having this hectic schedule
every day, we student tend to unable to maintain proper posture that could lead to
shoulder, neck and back pain, injury, decrease flexibility and many more. Proper
posture is very important to student because having a proper posture benefits in
many ways our body. It improves body alignment, improves breathing, eliminates
back and neck pain, improves our memory and learning, makes us taller and
slimmer, and makes us look more beautiful and powerful. Aside from that, it reduces
headaches, increases our energy level, and improves our lifestyle. Having a proper
posture will be very helpful in preparation in our chosen career. If we continue to
practice proper posture, we will have a healthier and happier life in the future.

2. After demonstrating all the core exercises, what have you noticed with the
reaction of your body? Why do you think your body reacted that way?

After demonstrating all the exercises, I’ve noticed that my body feels a little of
muscle pain and numbness even thought I perform warm up exercise before
proceeding to core exercises such as bird dogs, plank, side plank, and glute bridge. I
think my body reacted that way because it was innovating with the core exercises I’d
perform. Also because I don’t have enough energy due to weak body to demonstrate
those core exercises without having muscle and numbness after. Aside from muscle
pain and numbness I also felt relax, happy and make my body more flexible. I think
my body reacted that way because I correctly perform the core exercises that give
me the benefits of it on our body. Demonstrating core exercise is a good step for
healthy and happy living.
3. In strengthening your core, is it necessary to do crunches? Why?

It is necessary to do crunches if we want to strengthen our core because we


all know that crunches exercises are really good in strengthening our core. This kind
of exercises helps in strengthening and developing our core muscles. Also
maintaining crunches exercises improves our balance, posture, and reduces our risk
in back injuries. In addition, crunches are one of the most important core exercises
that help in training our abdominal muscles and in increasing our overall stability and
strength. But in order to achieve our main goal; the reason why we are doing
crunches exercises, we must practice the proper way of executing and
demonstrating of all crunches exercises to avoid further problem/accident like back
pain. In strengthening our core, we must combine crunches exercises, balance diet,
and positive vibes to achieve our goal.

4. Why do you need to perform each core strength precisely?

For all of us, we need to perform each core strengthening exercises precisely
for many reasons. First is for us to make sure our safety. As we all know that
incorrect performing of exercises would bring our body on many risks such as back
and neck pain, injury, improper posture, and weaken our muscles and core. Second,
if we do not perform each core strengthening exercises precisely we cannot achieve
our main goals why we do this such activity. We cannot achieve proper posture;
increase our flexibility, strengthening our core and many more. And lastly, because
performing each core strengthening exercises precisely would benefits our body, this
includes: strengthening our core, results to proper posture, it promotes normal
movement, balance our muscles, improves the efficiency of our muscles, etc. In
addition, correct performing of core exercises can prevent pain, injuries, and other
health problems and also relaxes and provides positive vibes in our body for us to
live healthy and happy.

5. How can you make sure you apply the concepts and importance of core
stability and strength daily?

I can make sure that I am applying all the concepts and importance of core
stability and strength in my daily life by making my own “Core Stability and Strength
Plan” which will remind me every day. I will keep into my mind that how busy I am I
really need to spend at least 30 minutes of my time every day to perform all core
stability and strengthening exercises. Another way for me to make sure that I am
applying the concepts and importance of core stability and strength daily is by
considering all the benefits it could bring to my body. This includes; trains my
muscles in my pelvis, lower hips, back, and abdomen to perform and work in
harmony that leads to better balance and stability. By knowing those benefits of core
exercises, it encourages myself to strive and work hard to maintain my core stability
and strength every day.
