GOOGLE CHROME
Overview
Google Chrome is a free web browser from Google. With its clean
design and advanced features, Chrome has quickly become one of
the most popular web browsers worldwide.
Chrome works quite well with Google sites and services such as
YouTube and Gmail . It also manages its system resources
differently than other browsers. Its V8 JavaScript engine was
developed from scratch at Google, and may improve your
experience on heavily scripted websites and applications.
Essentially, it should make the things you do on the Internet
faster.
Incognito mode
This mode allows you to browse in an isolated sandbox web session. It gives you
temporary control over your browsing history and session identity, because when you
close the browser, your logins and history are deleted. However, it does not guarantee
anonymity.

Advantages of Mozilla Firefox:
1. Speed. Firefox® is reported to be the fastest browser when it comes to
download speed.

2. Security. Firefox® has some advanced security measures that protect your
computer from spyware and even certain viruses.

3. Tabbed browsing and other advanced features. Tabbed browsing allows


you to open an unlimited number of pages in a single window, thus helping
you organize your browsing.
Disadvantages of Mozilla Firefox:
1. Compatibility issues. The main disadvantage of Firefox® is
compatibility. Some websites do not show properly in Firefox®,
and require you to view them with IE.

2. Memory. Firefox® takes a lot of memory to run. Even with an


up-to-date computer, you may find that it becomes hard to run
Firefox along with a couple of programs.

3. Interrupted service. Another disadvantage of Firefox® is that


downloads cannot be resumed if interrupted. This may not be a
big deal if you have DSL service, but those on a dial-up
connection may have a lot of trouble with this.

Overview
Safari is a graphical web browser developed by Apple, based on the
WebKit engine. First released on desktop in 2003 with Mac OS X
Panther, a mobile version has been bundled with iOS devices since the
iPhone's introduction in 2007.
In most ways, Safari is like any other popular browser. Users can browse
websites, bookmark favorites, and open multiple sites in tabs.

Opera is an Internet browser developed by Opera Software and was first
released on April 1, 1995.

Opera browser is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux, and has mobile
apps for Android and iOS.
Opera began in 1994 as a research project for the national phone company in
Norway, Telenor.
Some of the popular features of Opera are its speed, tabbed browsing, pop-
up control, and voice control.

even when you are on a congested/ fluctuating/ bad network area.
