3. Operating principles
This product is used to send chemical solution inside a syringe continuously at the specified flow rate (mL/h), based on the
syringe barrel pump method. Solution flow control is performed by a microcomputer that processes information and
controls motor rotation signals. The motors push the plunger inside the syringe and send solution through sliders and other
parts.

5. Replacement Parts
Note ●Time of replacement may vary, and in some cases other parts may also require replacement, depending on the
frequency and environment of use.
●The service life of this product is 6 years when maintenance and inspection are conducted, and consumables are
replaced as specified(self-certified). This is based on the assumption that the product is used in a standard
manner. Those exceeding the service life will require inspection and repair work including a comprehensive
parts replacement.
●We retain periodical replacement parts and service parts for 8 years after the termination of manufacture of the
product. Some are off-the-shelf items, however, and those which have long been on the market may become
unavailable prior to the expiration of this period due to discontinued production by the parts manufacturer.
The product (or in some cases, on the packaging of the product) bears a label shown on the left. It
indicates that the parts used for the product (e.g. battery, cord) need to be “collected separately” as
classified waste material. Be sure to dispose of them properly in accordance with the disposal rules
of respectable districts.
Note Perform replacement work on a conductive sheet to protect product from damaging.

of occlusion detection pressure values
1) [Inspection method]
[1] Turn the power on, feed about 50mL of water (determine the amount by taking priming into account) to the
50mL syringe, connect the winged intravenous needle at the syringe tip and install it in the main unit.
[2] Press the "Purge switch" to fill the water up to the needle tip and clear the accumulated volume to "0".
[3] Set the flow rate as shown in the table below and insert the tip of the winged intravenous needle into an empty
measuring cup.
[4] Press the "Start switch" and start the stopwatch simultaneously, and press the "Stop switch" after two minutes to
stop the operation.
[5] Calculate the volume from the measured weight of water and the specific gravity (approx. 0.998g/mL at 23°C),
and make sure that the water fed volume is within the specified value.
*After the end of the inspection, return to the setting that recorded before inspection.

4. Cleaning
Caution Before cleaning, be sure to turn the "Power switch" off and disconnect the AC power cable.
Disinfect the device periodically for the prevention of infection. Soak gauze, etc. in any of the disinfectant solutions
shown in the table below, and twist it softly and wipe the main unit softly. Regarding the dilution ratio, follow the
instructions for the chemical agent. After that, wipe again the main unit with gauze twisted softly after being soaked in
lukewarm water, etc.
Caution
● Avoid using a dryer, etc. and using alcoholic disinfectants because the functions and material quality of the
device may be deteriorated.
● Autoclave sterilization cannot be done for this machine.
● Clean the AC inlet, slider part, and clamp part periodically. During cleaning, do not remove the screw in each
part.
● Before using the AC inlet after being cleaned, make sure that it is dry well.
If the pump contacted with chemical solution and got dirty very much, wipe it immediately with gauze, etc. soaked in
water or lukewarm water.
If the inside of the AC inlet got dirty, wipe it with a cotton swab.
Caution
● Do not wipe it with an organic solvent such as alcohol and paint thinner.
● Do not rub with hard or sharp objects.
Ex) Metal tweezers
When the sliding portion of the One Touch Pole Clamp has dirt and an abnormal sound occurs, it cleans as follows.
●Cleaning procedure
