2021-2022
Students at BSJ pay School Fees either termly (except for IB which is paid annually) or annually. They also make a
Capital Levy Contribution (with an option to pay either annually or every four years).
Admissions Fees
Application Fee
A non-refundable Application Fee of IDR 4,000,000 per student should be paid immediately upon submission of
the application form. This covers the costs of administering your application.
Following submission of your application through our online admissions portal, please pay your Application Fee
by credit card or by bank transfer using the IDR bank details provided for therein.
If your application is successful, your New Enrolment Deposit secures your place.
We confirm your place via email initially, then you will receive a confirmation letter. This is couriered to your home
or work address, or handed over on your next visit to the Admissions Office. We also include an invoice for your
New Enrolment Deposit, which is IDR 30,000,000. You must pay this within seven days of the invoice date.
We refund your New Enrolment Deposit when you leave BSJ, if you inform us in writing that you are leaving at
least 30 days before the end of your final term (automatically upon graduation) and once you have returned all
books, computers and other equipment owned by the School.
We cannot refund your New Enrolment Deposit under any other circumstances.
If your application for Year 12 or Year 13 is successful, you must pay a non-refundable IDR 30,000,000 Entrance
Fee, on top of the Application Fee and New Enrolment Deposit, for each student.
Kindergarten to Year 11
You can choose to pay your School Fees termly or annually, by indicating your preference on your application
form. For parents opting to pay upfront and in full, a discounted rate is applied. Each year, for the following
academic year, we will ask you whether you wish to continue to pay termly or annually, or to switch.
If you are a new student, we invoice your School fees when we confirm your place. Your payment is due by the
date stated on the invoice.
For 2021-2022, a moratorium on any increase in school fees is in place until end of Term 1. Term 2 & 3 fees are

subject to change. If you have paid your fees annually, an invoice representing the difference will be sent to you
prior to the start of the following term if a decision is made to increase the fees.
Years 12 and 13
You pay your School Fees annually. We invoice you over the summer holiday, for the year that follows. Your
payment is due 30 days before the commencement of term.
If you are a new student, we invoice your School fees when we confirm your place. Your payment is due by the
date stated on the invoice.

is made to increase the fees.
If you inform us that you are leaving BSJ part way through a year, we cannot refund your School Fees for the
remainder of that year.
Kindergarten to Year 13
If you are a new student and join BSJ at the start of a School year, you can choose to make a four-year CLC or to
make a one-year CLC annually, by indicating your preference on your application form.
If you join part way through the year, you make a one-year CLC for the remainder of your first year, pro-rata to a
full term. For the years that follow, you can then choose to continue making one-year CLCs, or to make a four-year
contribution. We will prompt you via email to make this decision.
We invoice your first CLC when we confirm your place. We invoice subsequent CLCs over the summer holidays.
Your payment is due 30 days before the commencement of term.
Years 11 to 13

You pay your CLC annually, unless you have any years left on an existing four-year CLC.
If you join part way through the year, you pay a one-year CLC for the remainder of your first year, pro-rata to a full term.
We invoice your first CLC when we confirm your place. We invoice subsequent CLCs over the summer holidays. All
payments are due 30 days before the commencement of term.
Initially, we send all invoices to the email address you register with us. Then we courier a hard copy to your
Indonesian home or work address.
You may make payments by credit card (subject to a 2.35% bank administration fee) or by bank transfer, using
the payment details on your invoice.
You must make your payment in Rupiah, to the full amount. You must also pay any bank charges.
All payments are due 30 days before the commencement of term. If you are late in paying any of our invoices,
you will incur a late payment fee of 2% per month. In case of further delay, students may be subject to
suspension and/or withholding of results until outstanding fees have been settled in full.
Bus Service
The bus service is provided and invoiced by PT. Big Bird Pusaka, part of the Blue Bird (taxi) Group. As such, bus
fees cannot be included in the school fees invoice, as it is a separate entity.
To register for the bus service, at any time during the year, contact the Bus Office via (+62) (0)21 7486 7533,
[email protected] or the main School telephone number ((+62) (0)21 745 1670). It takes seven days to process
an application.
PT. Big Bird Pusaka will invoice you via email, and send a hard copy via a courier to your home address.
If you stop using the bus service part-way through a term, Blue Bird cannot refund that term’s fee. If you have
not used the service at all during that term, you will receive a full refund.
Force Majeure
In the event of any inability or delay in the School’s ability to deliver or perform any or all of its obligations
resulting from force majeure causes (including inability to deliver our educational programme online or
remotely) beyond the School’s reasonable control and occurring without its fault or negligence, including
(without limitations): acts of God or elements of nature, fire, flood, earthquake, an outbreak of diseases,
epidemic, pandemic, concerns with local or national safety and security, actions of government or government
restrictions, riots, sabotage, changes in legislation directly related to the implementation of the School’s
services, wars and insurrections, provided that, the School has acted in good faith to minimise the effect of
the force majeure, you hereby acknowledge that your obligations herein shall continue and remain valid, and
the School will have no liability in respect of any such inability or delay in its provision of services hereunder.
The School shall notify the occurrence of the force majeure event within a period of no later than 14 (fourteen)
days from the date of the occurrence of force majeure to the parents/respective guardians.
