(iii) Academic Calendar of Ph.D. Programmes of Academic Session Jan – June 2021 will be issued separately.

1. COURSE WORK:
(a) Each Ph.D scholar shall be required to undertake Course Work of minimum 14 Credit Units including three Compulsory Courses {“Research

(c) A candidate will be required to qualify in all Course Units including Area Specific Courses in 1 st semester itself.

(d) The Passing Criteria in a Course shall be 60% i.e. Grade B+. Absolute Grading will be used for Ph.D. Programmes.

(e) Further, if a scholar fails to get qualifying Grade B+ i.e. 60% Marks in any Course Unit, he/she will be Retained in the same semester and will also be
given second opportunity to improve his/her minimum qualifying Grade to B+ i.e. 60% Marks, failing which his/her provisional registration shall be terminated.
