This kaolin’s delaminated structure improves stain


resistance and washability in paints. It is an excellent
titanium dioxide extender and improves opacity of
ASP® NC X-1
paints. It provides synergistic properties when used in
combination with calcined kaolins such as Satintone®
W or Mattex®.

brightness. Satintone 5HB has been dehydroxylated
by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystal-

Mattex® PRO resistance and burnish. It is uniquely structured to
provide very high scrub resistance properties and very
low sheen while maintaining excellent hide.
A chemically structured kaolin based pigment that
combines high opacity and whiteness with high tint
Mattex MX
®
strength, low sheen and excellent film integrity in
coatings.
An ultra-fine particle-size engineered grade featuring
ultra-high brightness. It has been dehydroxylated
by controlled heat treatment for removal of crystal-

ness. Ultrex 96 kaolin is highly pulverized for better
