dogs, corned beef, salami)

• ½ cup portion beans, lentils, legumes or tofu
• Organ meats (liver, kidney)
• 1-2 tablespoons nut butter • Meat, fish and chicken from fast food
• 1-2 eggs restaurants

• Large amounts of cow’s milk


• Rice milk
• Processed cheese like Velveeta®, American or
• Almond milk
Cheez-Whiz®
Dairy • Natural cheeses like mozzarella, Swiss, goat • Milk substitutes with phosphate additives
or cheddar

Grain products with artificial phosphorus. Look


• Whole Wheat Bread & Pasta out for:
• Brown Rice • Flavored rice/pasta mixes
• Oatmeal, cream of wheat & grits • Bread/cake/muffin/pancake mixes
Grains • Whole grain cold cereals (bran flakes, • Macaroni & Cheese
