WEDDING CEREMONY SCRIPT

Opening Spill:
 “And for this reason, a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his
wife, and the two will become one flesh. So, they are no longer two, but one flesh.
Therefore, what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
 Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, honored guests and visitors, good
afternoon and welcome to HeartSpring Resort, where the memories of
togetherness and intimacy starts here.
 Today, we are going to witness the two hearts joined together in the Holy
Matrimony of Marriage as they exchange their vows in the presence of these
people and in the presence of the Lord.
 To start with, let us all witness the wedding entourage of Noel and Fairah
Nuptials.

 To light the path of their marriage – Mr. and Mrs. Jezreel & Aunorina Veronica Ugoban.

 Indeed, love conquers everything. Once again, may I present to you, our newlywed
couple, Mr. and Mrs. Noel and Fairah Yap. Congratulations!
 Now, for our photo opportunity, these will be the sequence of order.
 Firstly, let us allow the couple to take their first picture as husband and wife.
 Consequently, with the officiating Minister.
 Furthermore, may I request the parent of the groom to please join the newlywed couple,
and please don’t go yet because the parents of the bride will join you in a moment. Then,
let us give the moment to the parents of the bride.
 May I request all the Ninongs, and please don’t go as the Ninangs will join you. Now,
may I request the Ninongs to please go and the Ninangs to please remain.
 Grooms men.
 Grooms men and Bride’s maid.
 Brides Maid.
 Best Man and Maid of Honor.
 The rest of the secondary sponsor (Flower girl, Bearers, Little groom and Little Bride.)

Closing Spill
 We are done with the solemn part of this momentous event, and while the newlywed
couple will do their post nuptial pictorial to assisted by our Best Man and Maid of Honor,
may I request the rest of the party to please proceed to the event hall for the second part
of our program. Thank you so much.

AT THE RECEPTION HALL


 Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen. May I have your attention please. We are about to
begin our Dinner Reception so please find a seat and make yourself comfortable.
 Let us begin this celebration with a prayer to be led to us by Rev. Juvanny Yap.
 A very good afternoon to everyone and welcome to Noel and Fairah’s Dinner Reception.
My name is Ptr. Jhong Ignacio, one of the closest friends of Noel and fairah and I will be
hosting this event. In behalf of the newlywed and families, we thank you all for gracing
this joyful occasion specially those who took a leave of absence from work or from
school and those who took many miles just to be with us
 So, we are done with the solemn part of the event, and we thank those people who were
with us earlier at the wedding ceremony. Right now, we are in HeartSpring Inland Resort
Function Hall as we then move to the second part of our program in celebration of the
beginning of their new life together as newlyweds. So, sit down, relax and enjoy the rest
of the show.

INTRODUCTION AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Parents of the Newlyweds


 Before anything else, we would like to acknowledge the key persons who took a great
part of this joyous affair. For without their support, this event would not be made
possible. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great pleasure to introduce to you the Parents of
the Bride, Mr. Del Rosario and Merlyn Ugoban.
 Mr. & Mrs. Del Rosario and Merlyn Ugoban are both Ministers of the Gospel, pastoring
King’s Chapel Mati City.
 And of course, we are trully happy to have here with us the parents of the groom, Mr. and
Mrs. Julieto & Evangeline Yap.
 Mr. and Mrs. Julieto & Evangeline Yap are also both Ministers of the Gospel, and they
are pastoring Foursquare Gospel Church at Dugmanon.

 At this juncture, I assume that everyone has settled down and that we are ready to
welcome the newlyweds.
 This afternoon calls for a grand celebration and it is my distinct pleasure to introduce for
the very first time, Noel and Fairah as husband and wife. So without further ado, let us all
rise and give our warmest welcome to Mr. and Mrs. Noel Yap.
 Congratulations Noel and Fairah and best wishes to both of you. We wish you to be
blessed with long and happy life together with your future children.
 So, there you have it, our new lovely couple. Let’s give them another warm of applause.
Giving of Messages
 Right now, as part of the wedding celebration, let us hear a message from one of the
Ninong, Mr. __________ and to be followed by the Ninang, Mrs. ____________.
 And also, let us not forget the persons behind each life’s foundation, the parents. From
the groom’s side, we have here _______________ and from the bride’s side

Prosperity Dance
 It was indeed a beautiful afternoon to each and every one of us and it will be etched in the
memory of our lovely couple, for this day marks the beginning of their new life together.
From this day forward they shall be one, and on this joyful beginning what could be more
fitting than to celebrate it with their first dance.
 The first dance or prosperity dance is symbolic of the consummation of their wedding
vows. This dance is the wedding couple’s first cooperative engagement and joint
endeavor as the saying goes, “It takes two to tango.”
 Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends… it is my honor to present to you once again
our newlywed couple to have their first dance, Mr. and Mrs. Noel Yap.
 And for this, may I request all the Principal Sponsors first to pin their gifts to the
newlywed’s garment. And to be followed by the families and friends.

Dinner
 Well I guess the food is now ready and dinner will commence shortly. May I call on
________ to say the grace before meals.
 So there you have it ladies and gentleman. Dinner is served. You are all hereby invited to
partake dinner. You may now get your food at the buffet table. Please enjoy your meal.

Table Hopping for Souvenirs and Pictures


 May I have your attention please, I guess by now everyone had their fill of our
sumptuous food At this point the newlyweds would like to take this opportunity to thank
everyone personally for your presence. Wendell and Ivy will now go from one table to
another to greet each and every one and to have their souvenir picture taking with their
guests. Simultaneously, our Matron of Honor assisted with some members of the bridal
entourage will be distributing the wedding giveaways and will be routing the guest book
so please stand by in your seats.
