Some Filipino ideology that are mirrored in “Showtime” and “Eat Bulaga” is the
“bayanihan”. Filipinos are known for its “bayanihan” or the way of helping each other in terms
of life challenges and disasters. These shows mirrored this “bayanihan” in a way of helping
each other to make people happy and helping people who are in needs. Another ideology
mirrored by the shows is “Filipinos being always happy”. Despite of all the challenges
encountered by the show, they are still strong and intact, making people happy and gives
hope to everyone. Another ideology is the phrase “It’s more fun in the Philippines”, the
shows really showed how fun in the Philippines is. They have showed and depicts a lot of
Filipino cultures which make them very popular not only here in the Philippines but also in
another countries. They have a very good representation of the Philippines and the Filipinos,
