Intended Learning Outcomes:
• At the end of the lesson, the students
should be able to:
1. Identify what is an authentic theology.
2. apply understanding of theology in a
personal way
3. describe the life and works of St. Anthony
of Padua
Class, welcome to Theology 101 course
with the descriptive title: Faith and
Revelation. This course is important for
this is a prerequisite to all other
Theology courses that you will take in
the future.
For today’s lesson, the topic will be
about an introduction to the Theology
integrated with the study of the life and
works of Saint Anthony of Padua, the
patron saint of this College. At the end
of the lesson you are expected to
identify what is an authentic theology,
apply understanding of theology in a
personal way and describe the life and
works of St. Anthony of Padua.
The first part of the lesson will be about
theology. To start with, open the video clip
entitled, “What is Theology”. Before you watch
the video please be guided with these
questions?
1. What is the meaning of theology?
2. What is the importance of studying
theology?
Now that you have finished watching the video,
kindly open your Activity Sheet 1 and answer what
are asked there. You have to submit your activity
sheet 1 through your Theology 101 google classroom
on August 23, 2020

The question is not, “Who is a Theologian?”
but “What kind of Theologian I am going to
be?” Are you going to be a good theologian or
a bad theologian? This is a more accurate
question, because as one writer put it, “Not all
theologies are equal.”
