What is the poem all about? ‘Tne poem i ll about the importance and relevance of communication fo each and every one of us, it — enlightens us about the benefits that we achieve through communication Itis telling us that without it, we aona ive the Ife we have right nw, the world would be boring and we would be able to understand and create a deep connection with each other. > Who or what do you think is being referred to as the “YOU” in the poem? The “VOU” being referred to in the poem is “COMMUNICATION” because the author describes it ina very meaninaful, accurate, and factual way _ 3. How did the speaker describe the “YOU” in the poem? Give as many descriptions as _ The author describes communication as the way for us to understand things, give credit to credit is due. Communication is best in boosting our confidence and giving meaning to our ex! enable us to plant feelings, emotions and thoughts which bore into understanding, trust, and and wonderful relationship filled with love. Through communication, we patch up broken re and connect with different people from different places. It allows us to express ourselves rat keeping it hidden in our emotions. Without communication, we would not be updated with d and information, we would not learn, even our own language. It made us see and hear things i aspect, t made us wander and share the message we want to convey to others Without con fe would not be worth living because communication gives life to our lives4. How does the poem relate to the lesson? The poem relate to the lesson in a way that it shows us the significance of communication, its meaning and its role in our world, Both the poem and the lesson talks about communication and the message they want to convey is very similar to each other. 5. Create a title of the poem. . » “COMMUNICATION: a simple word that gives life to the world. Activity2: minute. Take a video of yourself and watch it afterwards. Then, take Fast Talk Introduce yourself within | ame words, But this time without a time limit. Compare the two a video of yourself again saying the s: videos. Write your answers on the Activity Notebook. As you watch the videos, answer the following questions: - 1. Did you understand what you were saying? T understand what I was saying because the words came directly from me and not from anyone else, therefore it is easy for me to understand myself even if [am talking fast or slow. The words that speak out are already inside my mind so even if I’m talking really fast, J can still understand it.\ 2. Which one was easy to understand? Why do you think so? i Of course, it is easier to understand something when it is spoken properly, clearly, and slowly. Talking without a time limit makes me describe myself more and be able to convey the message I want to deliver. By that, I was able to speak out everything I want to share and understand what I am saying in front of the camera. 3. What are the advantages of talking fast and talking slowly? Talking fast does not consume a lot of time, so when you are in a hurry or the person you are talking to is then you could still deliver your message. However, we cannot guarantee if the receiver of the message really understood what you are saying. Talking slowly on the other hand allows us to talk deeper and express our feelings more because we have the time to think and time to speak clearly the topic we want to talk about. 4, What do you think is communication? For me, communication is a process wherein we are able to share our thoughts, feelings, emotions, information, and any message we want to convey not only to ourselves but also to other people. Communication is not simply talking, it also involves listening so that there would be a mutual understanding between the sender and the receiver. Without communication, we would not be able to connect to the people around us, to the happenings in our environment and to the evolution of the entire world.WHAT’S MORE?
