I. VISION STATEMENT
Guidance Office is committed to provide students counseling and other responsive and
significant guidance services towards the development of their academic, personal, social and
career competencies.
III. RATIONALE
The Guidance Office is designed as the developmental data driven and contains vital
activities that are organized and implemented by the school through the initiative of the
designated guidance teacher and with the approval of school administrator with the collaboration
of the teaching and non-teaching personnel, parents/guardians, students and stakeholders. The
program seeks to meet the needs of all students in different domains – academic, testing,
personal and counseling development, social, and career development. These domains ensure
the provision of services that respond to immediate needs and concerns of every student.
IV. OBJECTIVES
1. To guide and assist students in maximizing their competencies essential to their emotional,
mental and social growth and development.
2. To intensify counseling services by extending it to all students and parents through individual and
group counseling workshops and seminars.
3. Encourage young people particularly student leaders to participate in the peer counseling
process.
4. Improve guidance office by providing necessary facilities and materials for purpose of intensive
guidance services.
5. To conduct research studies designed to permit analysis and evaluation of the student
demographic data, the guidance program and school`s academic program.
1.Design, deliver, evaluate, and revise a guidance program that would address
concerns/issues for each grade level in academic, personal, social, and career
development, which consists of the following services:
Counseling
Information Service through orientation of students in all grade levels
Testing
Parent-Teacher Conferences
Career Guidance
Research and Evaluation
Intervention Programs
Other Support Services
3.Coordinate with the key personnel for the proper implementation of the guidance
program.
6.Maintain a record system of all guidance activities and ensure confidentiality of relevant
documents.
