DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Surface Preparation
Ensure that the surface to be painted is free from loose paint, dust, grease
and algae, by vigorous wire brushing, cleaning with water.
Surface Smoothening/Crack Filling

Asian Paints SmartCare Crack Seal can bridge cracks 3mm

in width, by filling compound into both interior and exterior
masonry surfaces.

Application
Use Exterior Wall Primer with Ultima Protek Topcoat
Before application of topcoat for fresh and re-painting surfaces apply a
coat of Asian Paints Trucare Exterior Wall Primer.

For waterproofing requirement, use Ultima Protek

Basecoat with Ultima Protek Topcoat
Fresh Surfaces: Apply a self-priming coat of Protek Basecoat (dilute
1 ltr of Basecoat with 300 ml of water) with a spreading rate of 75 - 80
sq.ft / Itr. After drying for 4 - 6 hours apply another coat of Protek
Basecoat without dilution with a spreading rate of 75 - 80 sq.ft / Itr.
Repainting: On surfaces previously painted, apply one coat of Protek
Basecoat without dilution at a spreading rate of 35 - 40 sq.ft / Itr and
allow to dry for 4 - 6 hours.

Usage of Ultima Protek Topcoat

Apply 2 - 3 coats of Protek Topcoat (dilute 1 ltr of Topcoat with maximum
400 ml of water) with a spreading rate of approximately 60 - 65 sq.ft / ltr
for 2 coats. A gap of 4 - 6 hours should be given between two coats.
