happy.
5. The captain said, ‘Hurray! We have won the match.’
Ans. The captain exclaimed with joy that they had won.
6. He said to me, ‘What are you doing?’
Ans. He asked me what I was doing.
7. She said to me, ‘Please give back my pen.’
Ans. She requested me to give back her pen.
8. Peter said, ‘My father is writing mails.’
Ans. Peter said that his father was writing mails.
9. Rakhi said, ‘All the girls were singing.’
Ans. Rakhi said that all the girls had been singing.
10. Mother said to me, ‘You have prepared a fine cup of coffee.’
Ans. Mother told me that I had prepared a fine cup of coffee.
