NARRATIVE REPORT

5th DAY OF INSET

DECEMBER 18, 2020

The session started at exactly 8:15 AM with a hundred percent attendance of the JHS and SHS
teachers of Godofredo Reyes Sr. National High School. The Officer of the Day were Group 4 who started
the session with a video presentation of a Prayer followed by a Nationalistic Song, Ako Ay Pilipino. The
recap of the previous day activities were given by Sir Aron Dacian and Thought of the Day by Maam Lisa
Villanueva.

Facilitator of the Day was Maam Tin Tribiana who introduced right away the speaker for the
topic: Essential ICT Skills in Teaching Google Forms by the no less than ICT Coordinator, the Faculty
President Sir Froy A. Flores. Sir Froy started by asking if everybody accomplished the previous days
assessment survey through accessing the given web address or the scanning the given QR. This way he
was able to account who are already knowledgeable in accessing Google. He even asked the difference
between Sign In and Log In. He lead the group in the step by step opening the Google Drive and how to
to go about to access the Google Forms and the Essential ICT Skills aside from the complete details he
sent online so the group can follow through even after the session. He also had some hands on activity
per group to know if everyone got it. ICT teachers, Maam Mae delos Santos, Maam AJ Aguirre and
Maam Flora Santillan gave additional informations. Questions were asked regarding sending of quizzes
were questions were jumbled along with several sections which was settled with the suggestions given
by the speaker Sir Froy and Maam Mae.

After the last speaker, Sir Froy, the first demo teacher followed. Sir Noel Forcadilla, an Araling
Panlipunan teacher had his demo teaching at 10:35AM. He had his lesson through video for 30 minutes.
It was a very informative one considering that he successfully tried the presentation with the help of
Maam Mae who provided him with the application and the technicalities along with it just to come up
with the video presentation which is very applicable to the New Normal. Though there are some
technicalities that need to be polished but generally it was something worth commending. At 11:20, the
second demo teacher, the beautiful and very talented, Maam Paula Bernadette Pachica, an English
Major tried also the presentation of her lesson through video as encouraged by Sir Noel. She was very
thankful to Sir Noel for the encouragement though a little anxious for the short lapses being new on the
applications they tried. The morning session ended at 12:10 already.

Sir Dan Albo had also his video lesson on Science. He also extended his gratitude to Maam Mae
who helped him also all along. The audio of his presentation needs to be given special consideration. He
is a Science Major. The last demo teacher was Maam Eva E. Sevilla, a SHS Filipino teacher who had her
lesson on a face-to-face scenario. She tackled on the different use of language and presented it through
a dialogue. She made the class alive and participating when she made an assessment with a reward.
Several Ice Breakers were introduced by group 4, Maam Maribel O. Imperial in between demo
teachings which keep the participants alive and stress free. The very efficient and smart principal of
GRSNHS, Maam Lorela A. Agnote made a very comprehensive critiquing and advise on the process of the
demonstration and how to polished some salient points to come up with a better presentation in
teaching specially on the New Normal situation.

The five day INSET commenced with a lot of learning, realizations and new knowledge acquired
to equipped the GRSNHS teachers facing the New Normal with so much inspiration and dedication. They
call the day at exactly 4:15 PM after the awarding of Certificates for the Participants, Facilitators,
