PART 1
Go to Virtual class (Lesson 1) then open the "future” submenu, and choose the "Practice” slide:
from each image you have to construct 3 sentences, using future tense with the auxiliary will.
7 images times 3 sentences = 21 sentences (7 affirmative, 7 interrogative & 7 negative ones)

Affirmative: He will dream of going to the beach


Interrogative: Will he wake up if the alarm goes off?
Negative one: He will not dream nightmares

Affirmative: I will camp in the month of January


Interrogative: Will all the guests attend the camp?
Negative one: The camp will not be boring

Affirmative: We will get in shape eating healthy


Interrogative: Will we get fit in a month?
Negative one: We will not be able to get in shape because we do not eat healthy

Now go to the next lesson SCORM (Unit 1 lesson 2) and open the "going to” submenu then choose
the second "Practice” slide, as shown in the image:

Read the questions and analyze them, those questions will help you build up a paragraph in
English (made up of 150 words or more). In case you find it hard to come up with ideas regarding
quality, feel free to search for some tips on internet, for instance "Deming Quality Principles”
"Quality policy” and similar themes; then be ready compose the answers to the questions but
using FUTURE tenses.
Use the following lines for introducing your homework Part 2 (fill in the blanks accordingly).
To concrete this assignment, we are going to suppose the following scenario:
The company where I will be working for is: mention the company/organization/corporation
where you would like to work for.

*Position.- es la traducción para "puesto (de trabajo)”
**Has to do with.- la expresión "HAS TO DO WITH” se traduce como "tiene que ver con” observa
que no se utiliza el verbo "SEE=ver” sino el verbo "hacer= DO”
“Para esta tarea debes utilizar "going to”; "Will” al menos en 10 ocasiones a lo largo del
párrafo, y se requiere no ser repetitivo con unos cuantos verbos. (BE CREATIVE, PLEASE)”
Recuerda que párrafos tipo "copy paste” son = 0 (cero).

The company where I will be working for is PIRELLI


The position* where I would like to be working and that has to do* with quality coordinator
Hello my name is Teresa Gamino, I’m the quality coordinator of the estimating department in the
company PIRELLI, I am in charge of all the quality of the architectural projects that we price for
several contractors, this semester we had issues with some contracts that we lost, due quality
errors of some estimators on their project estimation, our quality standard is 98% but by the end
of this semester it drop to 90% and that means that we are losing money I had a meeting with the
general manager to deal with this problem , I told him that we going to implement a new quality
protocol , this mean that we going to sort 20 projects per day and audit them to see if the quality
of the estimation meets our standard of 98%, if is not the project must be corrected, as the quality
coordinator I will be in charge of training the team that we need to do the audits, I will start with
the training of the team tomorrow, we going to have the next meeting in two months to discuss
the quality improvement whit this new method, to participate in this quality improvement I’m
going to train the quality crew in all the essential points that we have to know about new protocol,
also I will re-train all the estimating department following our work instructions, we going to meet
every week to review the issues that the audits found throughout the week and solve them.
