Superwool® Plus Textiles

Description
Superwool® Plus™ Rope Lagging consists of a strip of
Superwool® Plus™ blanket which is overbraided with an E-
glass yarn, a refractory steel yarn, or Superwool® Plus yarn
with E-glass or refractory steel reinforcement.

Superwool® Plus™ Twisted Rope: Twisted threads made of


Superwool® Plus™ fibre yarn reinforced with E-glass or
refractory steel.

Superwool® Plus™ Braided Packing: Braid of Superwool® Plus


fibre yarn reinforced with E-glass or refractory steel around a
core of yarns made of Superwool® Plus reinforced with E-
glass yarn. Available in round or square cross section.

Superwool® Plus™ Braided Sleeving: Woven form of


Superwool® Plus™ yarn reinforced with E-glass or refractory
steel.

Superwool® Plus™ Webbing and Cloth: Woven mesh of


Type Superwool® Plus™ fibre yarn reinforced with E-glass or
Textiles made from high temperature insulation wool. refractory steel.

Classification Temperature Features


Superwool® Plus™ fibre: 1200°C  Low thermal conductivity
Glass reinforcement: 500°C  Flexible and easy to use
Steel reinforcement: 1000°C  Excellent appearance
