A. Introduction Every part of this contains activities that will help you in developing your cognitive,

In this module, you are expected to:
a. Explain the roles and functions of communicators and journalists
b. Identify specific work areas in which communicators and journalists work
c. Explain the rights, responsibilities, and accountabilities
d. Distinguish between ethical and unethical behaviors among practitioners
In this chapter, you will learn about the roles and functions and the
competencies of professionals and the practitioners in communication.

1. Communication deals with how humans use verbal and non- T F
verbal messages to create meaning in various contexts.
2. The foremost important role of communicators and journalists is
to make available information and evidence to inform the public
