TOPIC: Community Helpers
REFERENCE: K to 12 New Kindergarten Curriculum Guide/MELCs
MATERIALS: Pictures, audio-visual aids, slides
SUBJECT INTEGRATED: Edukasyon sa Pagpapahalaga, Arts, Literacy & Mathematics
VALUES FOCUS: Cooperation

III. PROCEDURE

A. Preparatory Activity
1. Daily Routine
- Prayer
- Greeting the class
- Exercise
- Weather check

2. Drill

- Ask the pupils what they want to become when they grow.

3. Review

The teacher will ask the pupils what they have learned about the places in the community.
The teacher will also ask the functions of each places in the community.
4. Motivation

Show a video of the different community helpers.

B. Activity Proper
a. Presentation

Show PPT of different community helpers. Let the children name them. Ask the
Children how this people help the community.
Modeling
In front of the camera ask the children if they have met a community helper and how did
they help them. Then ask another volunteer to do the same.

The pupils will look for the letter Ii and color it.

Let each pupil present their activities to share their learning experiences and
express their ideas for them to develop higher order thinking skills by sharing their
output in our FB page.
