Screening Questions - Node Software Engineer

Technical Questions:
What languages/frameworks have they used?
What AWS resources are they familiar with? Were they using cloud formation or terraform?
What Database technologies do they have experience with?
What projects have they used the said technologies?
How did they use the technologies in those projects?
How long have they used the technologies?
Are they a Senior? How many developers are in their team?
Are they doing coding or coding review?
Is the project existing or new?
What is your role in the project?
What is your day to day activities?
Have you worked in a cross-functional environment? What type of environment and
methodologies. What methodology are you comfortable with?

Sometimes we do scaling depending on the usage of the technologies 1 - 5, 1 being the


highest.

For Behavioral:
How do you deal with pressure?
Was there a time that you were not able to meet your goals and how do you overcome it?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
What would make you stay in a company?
Why did you leave the company?
Current and Expected Salary? Current Benefits?
What is your notice period?
Do you have any active applications? If yes what stage are you at?
What are you looking for in terms of accepting an offer?
