Mainstreaming Program Agreement

Kindergarten Camp Learning Center of Antipolo accepts children of all abilities in their mainstreaming program. MAINSTREAMING PROGRAM AGREEMENT

Dear Parents,

KCLC believes that each child is unique with a range of abilities that should be considered and
variety of needs that should be met for the children to develop to their fullest potential. In line with this
philosophy, we accept and welcome children of all abilities for we believe that each child deserves
an environment and experiences that promote growth in all areas of his or her development. Our goal
is to help children with special needs in adapting to the demands of a regular preschool class by
integrating them with their typically developing peers. However, this program is open to a limited
number of students only to ensure that we can best meet the needs of each child and achieve the
developmental goals set for them.

In this regard, we would like to know if your child has been assessed by a Developmental
Pediatrician to have any special needs. If so, to better accommodate your child’s needs and provide
a suitable learning environment for him/her, we would also like to inquire if your child is under any
intervention or has undergone any intervention program such as Occupational Therapy, Physical
Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavior Management, etc. We assure you that any information disclosed
to us about your child will be handled with strict confidentiality.

Should our preschool team observe non-disclosed needs of your child during the school year,
we will recommend to have him/her checked by a Developmental Pediatrician. We will also be
requiring the child to attend an intervention program and to get assistance from a shadow teacher or
a personal aide during his/her stay in KCLC when the need arises. In cases of non-cooperation and
non-compliance from your end, KCLC has the right to withdraw your child from the program and
collect the remaining balance of your child’s full tuition fee.
