REPORTS TO BE SENT BY THE STUDENTS DURING FINAL PROJECT

1. Joining Report (FORMAT – I) (by post / courier addressed to the Director/faculty guide)
2. Fortnightly Report (FORMAT-II) (to be sent only through e-mail to the Director /faculty
guide)
3. Final Project Report (Anna University of Technology prescribed format) (5 copies to be
submitted in person to the faculty guide)
4. Attendance certificate from the organization as per university specified format.

• The Director, Excel Business School allotted the internal Project Guides for the project.
Students are requested to get in touch with their respective project guides for further
assistance and guidance at institutional level.
• The fortnightly report should be elaborate and should consist of all the data, facts and
figures collected during the mentioned period. (Please note that the data submitted to the
faculty guide in fortnightly reports should comprise of your final report also. Any deviation
has to be explained during the final project presentation).

• In case of any difficulty in communicating to the faculty guide it should be informed

immediately to the HOD/Director

• Those who fail to send the fortnightly reports on time will not be allowed to make
the final presentation to the faculty panel on the completion of the project. Since each
stage of the project is evaluated, failure to comply with deadlines mentioned in the
guidelines will result in a zero for that component. The faculty guide will have a final say in
what marks need to be awarded to his/her ward.

• Faculty from Excel Business School would correspond with the organization/institution
guide where the students have taken up the project to make an interim assessment of the
progress of the students. This would be done in coordination with the organization guide.
• An assessment report about the performance of the students would be solicited from the
organization guide at the end of the project. Here, the assessment would be made on
various parameters like sincerity, regularity, subject knowledge and interpersonal
relationship to mention a few. This assessment would be a component of internal
assessment. This will depend on the feedback given by your organization guide.

4
• Henceforth all communication will be made through your group e-mail ID. Plea of
ignorance will not be entertained. Check your group mail ID at least Once in a day.

• Maintain a copy of all documents that you send to your guide/EBS. Courier receipts,
photocopy of fax transfer status to mention a few. In the event of non-receipt of
documents from your end, this may prove to be handy to justify your claim.

• The Final project report copies should be submitted as per the Anna University of
Technology, specified format in all respect. (for format details see www.annauniv.ac.in)
