j) Alignment of wire rope with pulley :
k) Condition of Anti-falling rods check nuts and split pins :
l) Anti-falling rod angle :
m) Condition of clevis for any cracks :
n) Condition of SS wire rope :
o) Make/Year of mfg of SS wire rope :
p) Free movement of regulating Equipment :
q) Condition of guide tube :
r) Condition of eye of base counter weights :
s) Counter weight for any cracks :
2. Check for the availability and provide if absent
a) Base counter weight split pin :
b) 9-ton adjuster split pins :
c) Anti-falling rods check nuts and split pins :
d) Double strap split pins :
e) Bolts and nuts on guide tubes at top & bottom :
f) Other bolts nuts and split pins :
3. Check the fixing of SS rope end and secure if required :
4. Check the tightness of
a) Guy rod :
b) Check-nut of 9-ton adjuster :
c) Check-nuts of anti-falling rods :
d) Top & bottom fittings of guide tube :
5. Measure and record
a) Ambient temperature at the time of maintenance :
b) “X” value in cms :
c) “Y” value in cms :
d) Length of sleeves of anti-falling rods :
6. As per the chart at above temperature
a) “X” value in cms :
b) “Y” value in cms :
7. Clean the following
a) Mast muffing :
b) Guy rod muffing :
c) 9 ton insulator :
d) Counter weights :
8. Is SS rope lubricated with Balmerol lube :
9. Ensure Y- max and min and at 35°c,15°c,55°c marking :
10. Counter weight bottom ( 40 Kgs) along with eye to be ensured
If broken replace :
11. Paint the counter weights(if required) :
