A Detailed Lesson Plan in Science

The document provides a detailed lesson plan on teaching students about animal and plant cells. The objectives are for students to be able to differentiate animal and plant cells, identify the parts of each cell, and understand the functions of those parts. The lesson plan outlines introducing the topic, reviewing microscopes, discussing cell structures and organelles, having students compare animal and plant cells, and evaluating learning through a Venn diagram and activity sheet where students label parts and their functions. Students are also assigned to create a cell model as homework.

Detailed Lesson Plan in Biolody

I. Objectives
At the end of a 60-min period, at least 75% of the students will be able to:
A. Differentiate the animal and Plant Cell
B. Determine the parts of a plant and animal cell
C. Understand the functions of each part of the cell

II. Subject Matter

Animal and Plant Cell

Materials: Charts, Book, Manila Paper, Pen, activity sheet

Values: Creativity, Patience, Following Instructions

III. Procedure

“Good Morning Class...”

“Let us pray first...” (One Student will lead the Prayer)

functions in each kind of cell.”

e. (Generalization) (At last 25% of the students will give

“So what have you learned about cell?” their understanding about the lesson.)
IV. Evaluation
 In 1 whole sheet of manila paper the students will find their respective groups and make
a Venn diagram in order to determine the differences and similarities of the animal and
plant cell.
 After the activity the students will answer the activity sheet wherein they need to label
the parts of the cell and states its function.

V. Assignment

“Make a cell model using improvise materials”.
