Gender Discrimination in Pakistan: Presented by Ikram Faiz

Gender discrimination is a serious problem in Pakistan. Women make up 48% of the population but are often treated as property with no power over decisions in their own lives. They face discrimination in many areas such as education, marriage, and access to resources. Some of the key causes of discrimination are male domination in society, traditions that deny women rights, economic disparities that weaken women's status, and media portrayals of women as physically weak. Implementing laws protecting women, changing social norms, providing education and basic needs, and changing media portrayals are needed to improve the situation for women in Pakistan.
