Introduction :
“COURIER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM” is developed to transfer time
sensitive documents, goods or articles from one place to another.
COURIER:
courier is a person who deliver goods ,messages, packages etc.
Courier services: Courier services means any services provided to a
customer, by a courier agency in relation to door-to-door transportation of
time sensitive documents, goods or articles.
HOW TO MANAGE:
• Storing track code for each courier:
Each courier boy is assigned route in surrounding of branch of
company track code is unique for each courier.
• Dedicated software installed at each terminal which are centrally
authenticated
Software should be authenticated like (Operating system
WINDOWS 95 /XP/ 2000/ NT Front end Visual basic 6.0
Back end SQL_SERVER)
• Each terminal communicate with main server for information
exchange which includes new courier registration, old courier
enquiry and other courier related queries
Customer server at branch of company stores sender as well as receiver
information such as phone number , address and assign a unique track
no to each of them. After that time sensitive documents, goods or articles
send to the corresponding district at
Management of complaint:
Failure to respond, lack of understanding of individual circumstances and no
investigation by branch manager. The consumer followed the procedures by
submitting a claim form as an item did not reach its destination.
Complaint maybe of these types
• Parcel lost
• If your parcel delivered but not with the right consignee
• Visible damage or loss
• Invisible damage or loss
• Duration
The consumer followed the procedures by submitting a claim form as an
item. If customer service department could not solve the inquiry. They will
forward to the complaints department . This department will look into
whether or not your claim is valid and qualify for compensation.
